• The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals. 
• The purpose for the job is to sample raw materials under quarantine according to the sampling guide.
• Sampler receive GRN’s of quarantine stock from the Warehouse Pharmacist
• Collaborates with receiving supervisor to obtain the required unapproved materials for sampling
• Samples according to the SOP sampling guide and in compliance to all dispensary Grade C requirements and SOP’s
• Samples are given to the Warehouse Pharmacist for checking and supply to the laboratories
• Responsible for good housekeeping in area of responsibility
• From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification, and training of the incumbent
• Ability to prepare for raw materials
• Ability to identify and find raw materials which are to be sampled
• Obtain correct quantity sample of every unit of raw material
• Ability to administer TruScan device (SOP PIC1304038)
• Labelling of samples (SOP QC1601174)
• Samples to be sent to Backlift
• Accurately complete required documentation
• Ability to perform Cycle Counting in order to verify that stock in the aisles corresponds with the stock on the Cycle Count Sheet
• Perform stock take
• Ability to operate a computer on foundation level
• Ability to print labels from the LIMS system
• Compliance and understanding of spillage procedure (SOP PIC0503616)
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Compliance with required dress code for Warehouse
• Compliance with required dress code for controlled unclassified areas
• Ability to carry out procedure for entering controlled unclassified areas
• Ability to carry out procedure for entering Grade C Cleanrooms
• Data integrity
• Understand where SOPs can be accessed
• Demonstrate an understanding of the process to be followed if an SOP or Batch Record instruction has not been followed

Requirements

• Minimum grade 12
• 1 year experience.

The purpose of this position is o provide administrative support to the entire Quality Assurance Department.

• PQR – Typing and Trending and administration of database
• Trending for the QMS system and reports from KabiTrack
• Risk assessments and register – administration
• Customer complaint administration duties
• Compilation of logbooks
• Administration of the Netskills training system
• Compilation and distribution of quality KPIs and Netskills training status to departments
• Complete transactions and reconciliations for batch movement to quarantine store (QS/QR)
• Administration of the Document Management System e.g. SOPs, archive and retention of records
• General office duties inclusive of handling of stationary supplies, filing, and assistance with document typing.
• Carry out other tasks within the department/ factory which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent.

Requirements

• Possess a post matric qualification e.g., Certificate or Diploma in Administration
• Advanced Microsoft office including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Lotus Notes
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in administration or secretarial duties
• Experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
