Job description

The Legal Entity Control (LEC) works to support the strategic and financial priorities of the Sub Saharan entities by partnering with the businesses to ensure there is a sound control environment. The team ensures compliance with JPM corporate and local reporting standards in respect to accounting, statutory and taxation for the Sub Saharan Africa entities as well as drives the BEE reporting and implementations within JPMorgan South Africa.

The successful applicant must be a highly motivated, self-driven individual who is capable of multi-tasking, analytically reviewing data and process to identify improvements, display good time management and communication skills.

Description

The graduate will have various responsibilities within the Finance area which includes financial accounting, MIS, tax and BEE activities as well as US regulatory reporting necessary in a banking environment.

Job Description

The graduate will form part of the regulatory reporting team, which includes Basel III and IV reporting within South Africa.

• B. Degree
• Exposure to Accounting and Grade 12 Mathematics (60% or higher pass rate)
