Key Performance Areas

• Repair and maintain press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
• Do preventative maintenance a per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.
• Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Team Leader
• Ensure that company procedures, work instructions and quality systems are always adhered to
• Participate actively in the departmental mini business as per company requirement
• Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and work instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• NQF level : N2 Qualified fitter/Fitter & Turner/ Millwright
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Fitter / Millwright within an Automotive environment
• Hydraulic and mechanical press experience

Minimum Requirements

• NQF 6 Educational level: Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Diploma/Degree
• Must be a qualified Fitter/Millwright/Electrician
• Must have training Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic PLC & Robotics
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
• Must have Extensive technical background in terms of Press Shop and Assembly maintenance within an automotive environment.
• Must understand Quality specifications and systems.
