- The Costing Specialist is responsible to provide support and expertise in the area of cost/costing analysis. Undertake complex and critical research, interpret the results of analysis and provide alternatives / recommendations for further consideration. Ensure accurate, timely efficient and compliant financial reporting at NiM and Regional level (where relevant). Covers activities under Period end Close for Group reporting, local statutory reporting and internal management reporting, in accordance with Nestlé Accounting Standards, Nestlé Costing Standards and local accounting standards.
A day in the life of a Costing Specialist:
- Cash Flow & Continuous Improvement: Participate in Market driven Projects when Product Costing contribution is required. Coordinate OPEX Savings with the factories and consolidate the OPEX savings reports.
- Analysis: Act as a central contact point and liaison for all questions / issues in terms of Variance Analysis within the Factory's Cost of Production. Ensure timely communication of targeted information to the relevant parties following period-end close.
- Reporting and Analytics: Coordinate and execute COGS forecasting within the Monthly Business Planning (MBP) process. Ensure transparency of Costs of Goods Sold within the Dynamic Forecast with adequate reporting. Ensure timely communication of quarterly COGS rates to the Business Unit Controllers.
- Business Planning: Participate in business planning; participate in coordinating the SCB process with the factories. Be a contact point for questions / issues relating to material prices and master data (e.g. proc type, special proc type, purchase info record by subcontracting, price unit and costing lot sizes, all data from CV3 and CV4).
- Internal Controls: Ensure the proper application of new or updated Guidelines and its integration within the concerned Costing Processes. Development or update of costing functionalities, tools and solutions are properly tested and understood for all issues related to inventory valuation, subcontracting and co-manufacturing. - Knowledge Transfer: Promote clear understanding of costing processes both within the costing community and the Head office Finance community

Control, Maintain and Ensure Accuracy Of Master Data By:
- Managing the workflow of new and existing materials as well as ascertaining that the data related to pick – face, bin and materials are updated as and when required.

- Assisting in discontinuation of materials and ensuring efficient use of warehouse capacity
- Actively participate in all Warehouse related matters of the Customer Facing Supply Chain to ensure cross functional alignment through:

Maintain Data and Systems:

Collate Information and Assumptions:

- The Supply & IMS Planner is responsible to build supply/ production plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location, on time-in full to meet customer demand at the optimum total delivered cost.
A day in the life of a Supply & IMS Planner:
- MPS/IMS Planning: Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints. Responsible for 18 months production plans for the factory in the scope.
- Inventory Management: Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location.
- Exceptions management: Analyze exceptions, take business decisions (based on priorities or after arbitration) and adjust planning results accordingly. Establish production requirements for short and long term and to follow up production plans.
- Consistently achieve sustainable Customer Service Level for domestic and Inter-Market Supply (IMS) customers within the Working Capital and Freshness objectives by ensuring minimal bad goods impact whilst meeting demand.
- Establish stock policies for Finished Goods for Inter Market Supply together with Planners of Receiving Markets. Periodically review the stock level of the domestic and the receiving markets to proactively look for solutions in case of deviations.

- The SHE Coordinator is responsible to assure the safe operation of the site through the implementation of the site’s SHE Management Systems thereby ensuring that the site remains compliant with Nestlé SHE policies, standards, procedures and relevant legislation.
A day in the life of a SHE Coordinator:
- Implement and maintain the international standards for safety and environmental management (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) throughout the site and monitor and report on its operation.
- Ensure the site’s adherence to all SHE related legislation including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, the COID Act, the Environmental Conservation Act and the National Environmental Management Act; and necessary by-laws.
- Ensure that the site’s SHE risks are identified and assessed as the Lead Risk Assessor, and assist in establishing the necessary contingency plans to minimize the consequences of any foreseeable risks.
- Ensure that arrangements are in place to make the Site Management, Line Managers at all levels and Specialist staff aware of legal obligations relating to SHE Risks.
- Ensure the creation, maintenance, review and updating of SHE Policies, standards and procedures for the site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out according to the SHE Policies, standards and procedures, by implementing and maintaining a behavioral based safety (BBS) program on the site.
- Establish and participate in the Site SHE Committee in accordance with the OHS Act.
- Establish the different specialized safety-related teams (Fire Team, First Aid teams, Hazmat, Risk Assessment teams and Crisis Committees) as required to respond to particular issues.
- Supervise and help to organize, equip and train the different specialized groups dealing with SHE, such as Fire team, First aid team, Hazardous material group and Evacuation team.
- Provide SHE advice, guidance and support to the site and monitor compliance with Company Policies and legislative requirements.
- Ensure that annual SHE Objectives and Targets are set, agreed and measured taking into account the site and Nestlé corporate requirements. Develop the site SHE Plan taking these SHE Objectives and Targets into account
- Assist in ensuring that the different technical safety functions (ammonia, pump room, etc.) are filled by competent specialists and ensure that the mandatory technical inspections have been run according to the legal and corporate specifications.
- Ensure that SHE and Security incident investigations are conducted, the root causes are identified, and the follow-up actions are completed. Advise Management about preventive and corrective measures.
- Assist the supporting Engineers with the establishment of the SHE related investment and operational budgets for the site.
- Contribute to the elaboration and implementation of a safety concept in construction and/or installation projects and ensure that all contractors who perform work on the site comply with all Nestlé SHE requirements and have completed necessary documentation.
- Collect and report on the monthly and annual SHE statistics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Ensure that there is good communication and regular interaction with the Site Occupational Health Nurse on all occupational health and safety issues, particularly incident recording, incident investigations, COID Act documentation, safety statistics, medical surveillance and health risk assessments.
- Identify the SHE training needs for the site, develop a SHE Training Matrix and ensure that the training is completed. Organize continuous SHE education and training programs for management and employees.
- Submit monthly SHE KPIs onto the NEST (SHE-PM), and other information as and when required by Corporate SHE/Engineering/ Technical Advisor, and this includes SHE Surveys, SHE Programmes, SHE Statistics and SHE KPIs, etc.
- Ensure full implementation of NGS (Nestlé Group Security) standards and best practices.
- Assist MSM (Market Security Manager) with conducting and assessing risks and threat assessments.
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision and abidance to local security SOPs applicable for the external security company.
