    Factory Maintenance Engineer

    • The Factory Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for supporting and participating in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance program aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimize maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.

    A day in the life of a Factory Maintenance Engineer:

    Manage existing assets - Planned maintenance:

    • Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
    • Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (Preventative Maintenance pillar, foundations), usually member of Preventative Maintenance pillar.
    • Master and coach breakdown analysis.
    • Responsible to ensure effective utilization of 
    • Asset Maintenance Management system.

    Manage existing assets - Budget management:

    • Provide input for annual maintenance budget. Assist with the reporting and tracking of the maintenance budget. Analyze over/under spending in the area of responsibility and propose corrective actions.

    Build Engineering Capability:

    • Support and participate in the competence building plan (CBP) for the maintenance team.
    • Build up maintenance methodologies competencies within Engineering, on the topics from Roles and Responsibilities matrix.
    • Assist with the technical training program for all factory maintenance staff.
    • Build up Asset Maintenance Management competencies within Engineering.

    Manage existing assets - Production support:

    • Support the implementation Asset Maintenance pillar methodologies.
    • Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues.

    Define and adhere to standards:

    • Support and participate in implementation of applicable standards.
    • Ensure adherence to applicable standards in the area of responsibility.

    What will make you successful?

    • Engineering Degree or Technical College Degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Engineering Management (Plant Maintenance, Machinery and Processing Equipment and Packaging Equipment) preferably in FMCG related manufacturing environment (dairy factory)  
    • At least 2 years’ leadership experience important
    • Experience working in multifunctional team (i.e., capital projects, DMAIC) preferred.
    • Good knowledge of Asset maintenance
    • Good knowledge of Asset Maintenance Management system (SAP PM module)
    • Nestlé Engineering organization and Roadmap
    • Knowledge of Total Productivity Maintenance methodology is preferred.
    • Experience in Project management, execution and budget control.
    • Experience in Engineering procurement control.

    Category Accounts Manager x3 (Shoprite, Spar & Massmart)

    • We’re now looking for 3 Category Account Managers for each of the following customers: Shoprite, Spar & Massmart within our Sales team. The roles are responsible for developing and implementing annual key customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies, while driving sustainable growth, improving customer penetration and achieving profitable sales objectives.

    A day in the life of a Category Account Managers:

    • Develop and execute a clear Key Account Management strategy covering customer portfolio, product priorities, supply alignment, route to market and sales channels to grow penetration within assigned customers and countries, while improving the overall competitive position of the business.
    • Define customer-specific business objectives, joint business plans and market strategies, and establish clear measures to evaluate performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions. Effectively lead, control and manage direct selling and sales execution teams to deliver agreed business objectives, sales targets and KPIs.
    • Collaborate closely with Commercial Development, Key Account teams, Marketing and relevant business units to deliver the overall business plan, ensure effective market intelligence gathering and support timely reporting.
    • Ensure full adherence to all company principles and policies, including Nestlé and local trade policies, trade terms, safety requirements, local regulations and applicable WHO or local codes relating to infant formula.
    • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key customers to ensure business alignment, improve customer satisfaction and unlock sustainable growth opportunities.

    What will make you successful:

    • Bachelors’ degree or BCom 
    • 3-5 years’ in Key Accounts Management experience with preferable direct experience within Shoprite, Spar, Wholesale and Massmart
    • Demonstrated experience dealing with National and Regional Buyers. 
    • Must know how the retail business works
    • Customer facing experience.
    • Understanding profitability, margins, Profit & Loss (basic understanding)
