    SAP Specialist HCM/PY - Finance - Information Services and Technology

    Job Description

    • The purpose of this role is to maintain and configure the SAP HCM and Payroll (PY) modules within the SAP ECC6.0 EhP8 environment to support business requirements, including analysing user needs and business processes, resolving functional issues in collaboration with technical teams and clients, managing system incidents in line with agreed SLAs, participating in related projects, and ensuring that all system changes are properly tested and documented in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures for audit purposes.

    Key responsibilities will include:     

    • Managing SAP support and minor enhancements of HCM/PY modules to ensure the smooth operation of the SAP systems.
    • Providing level 2 functional support.
    • Overseeing incident and service management.
    • Overseeing patches and related work (functional).
    • Working with SAP 3rd party support team as per agreement including SLA compliance and budget.
    • Reviewing and testing (UAT) changes and enhancements made.
    • Documenting all changes, enhancements, and UAT performed.
    • Complying with set system, changing management process and procedures.
    • Providing advice and business analysis to the custodian business processes and SAP custodians for buy-in and support for improvement opportunities.
    • Supporting the SAP custodian request for approval of project funding and development of business case.
    • Participating in the implementation of projects in the specialist role, including development, testing, change management, go-live and go-live support.

    • SAP Certified accreditation.
    • Project Management Qualification will be advantageous.
    • A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in SAP HCM/Payroll business processes.
    • Good Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
    • S4 Hana experience an advantage.

    Shunter - Logistics Operations

    Job Description

    • The incumbent will be responsible for interpreting the daily loading plans of rail commodities and plan train movements for the shift safely.

    Key responsibilities will include:     

    • Applying Rail Knowledge principles for performing actual shunter duties in the operational environment.
    • Performing the shunting process, which represents, organized movement of rolling stock following relevant shunting signals and shunting terminology for safe conveyance of rolling stock.
    • Assisting Train Driver with the correct utilizing of different train control systems and ensuring correct application of safe train movement principles in accordance with company procedures, RSR and equipment manufacture.
    • Directing train drivers when coupling or uncoupling of rolling stock from a train composition.
    • Transferring of wagons from one track to another.
    • Delivering or removing wagons from freight yards, maintenance, workshops, or rail wagons onto loading bays.
    • Deploying of shunting rolling stock within the useful length of the tracks and securing the wagons from self-movement (uncontrolled movement).
    • Safely parking of rail wagons, conducting safety checks on trains, interpretating of signalling, wagon types, and classes.
    • Utilizing the various semaphore signals, colour-light signals, track side indicators, and train control methods for shunting purposes in a specific environment.
    • Operating and performing applicable train brake system (Airbrake & Vacuum) within company specific instructions and manufacturer specifications.
    • Maintaining safe working conditions and promoting good housekeeping.
    • Adherence to SHEQ standards.

    Intrinsic Qualities:

    • Must have good verbal communication skills.
    • Must demonstrate commitment to safe work practices.
    • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
    • Must be a self-starter.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Grade 12.
    • Shunting Certificate (MQA standard).
    • A minimum of 2 years uninterrupted shunting experience.
    • Valid Shunting license.
