    Intermediate to Senior Full-stack .Net Developer

    The Job

    A client is actively looking for a talented  Intermediate to Senior Full-Stack .Net Developer to join their team on a contract basis.

    A typical day at the office will include:

    • Building reusable software components and libraries for future use across multiple projects;
    • Designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software according to the functional requirements;
    • Analysing, diagnosing and resolving errors related to their applications;
    • Keeping abreast of technical and industry developments; and,
    • Working closely with developers and a variety of end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

    To apply, you need to have a Degree in Computer Science or relevant field, a good understanding of scrum and agile practices, strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail as well as a solid understanding of OOP principles.

    It's important that you are flexible about working with new methodologies and technologies, have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, a good understanding of C# technology and experience using ORM’s such as Entity Framework or NHibernate.

    You will have to rely on your experience with WCF technology, Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD), as well as your SOLID design principles and design patterns experience to thrive on the job.

    Automation Test Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • You will be responsible for solving complex and small testing issues using some of the industry’s latest technologies. 
    • Automation is a key part of what they do, so they will expect you to have a strong coding background to assist in building the automation systems that enable them to deliver world-class software.
    •  It's important that you can understand the systems you will testing, therefore you must have the ability to program (they use Scala, Javascript and UFT amongst others) OR be interested in learning to program. 
    • Test and Build API’s 
    • Understand container tools like (Docker / Kubernetes)
    • You need to know how to write SQL and where it is most effective for an automated test to live (Unit, Integration, E2E), as well as understand the benefits of manual testing but also the costs.
    • Lastly, you need to have experience in testing financial applications and enjoy complicated numerical calculations.
