Key Outputs    

• Safely operate and drive a rigid truck, strictly adhering to South African traffic and safety regulations.
• Transport FMCG goods between Premier FMCG Lords view CDC and various locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, promptly reporting any issues.
• Load and unload goods, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of Premier FMCG products during transportation.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain effective communication with Premier FMCG Lords view CDC dispatchers, fellow drivers, and warehouse employees.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a special emphasis on Premier FMCG industry regulations and safety protocols.

Main Objectives:

Assist in loading and/or vehicle on assigned route to ensure that products are delivered without incurring any damages. To utilize the company’s vehicle effectively to achieve company goals but not limited to moving around the links and smaller trucks on site.

Purpose of the job

Ensuring achievement of line production targets and efficiencies of the production line for which the production Operator is responsible, includes the managing the line in terms of quality, cost, delivery, safety & morale.

Responsibilities

• Carries out the assigned production line, process parameters and measurements and cleaning requirements according to the approved work instructions/recipe/packaging requirements etc. and sets the equipment with operators accordinglyEnsures that planned volumes are achieved with the main KPIs being achieved
• Manages labour resources allocated to the production lines
• Manage the 1st line maintenance of the production line with machine specifications and SOPs
• Generate job cards and ensure that downtime is at its minimum
• Conduct weekly/monthly stock takes
• Conduct weekly cycle counts
• Initiate and identify gaps within relevant production lines and drive continuous improvement

Main Objectives:

To ensure daily loading and offloading of bread on site.

Responsibilities:

• Load bread according to picking slip.
• Manage stock by transfers and GRV’S.
• Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck.
• Attend daily invocoms.
• Ensure that quality bread is loaded.
• Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
• Account for all stock received and dispatched.
• Giving daily reports.
• On time truck departures.
• Assist with queries.
