    Export Shipping Manager

    Job Description

    • A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Export Shipping Manager with a strong background in international logistics, export operations, and supply chain management.
    • The successful candidate will oversee export shipping activities, manage customs and warehousing processes, optimise shipping operations, and lead a team to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective export execution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate end-to-end export shipping operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and performance targets.
    • Oversee customs processes, clearing and forwarding activities, claims, insurance, and freight operations.
    • Manage export warehousing, finished goods inventory, container bookings, break bulk shipments, and chartering activities.
    • Develop and manage monthly shipping and invoicing forecasts in collaboration with commercial, finance, and operations teams.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient export planning and execution.

    Requirements:

    • 6–8 years' experience in export shipping, logistics, or supply chain management with proven people management experience.
    • Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs regulations, Incoterms, international shipping, warehousing, and freight management.
    • Experience managing clearing and forwarding operations, carrier relationships, and shipping forecasts.
    • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics, shipping, or ERP systems.

    Mechanical Fitter

    Job Description

    • A leading industrial engineering company is looking for an experienced Qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong hydraulic and mechanical maintenance experience on mobile and stationary equipment.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, preventative and breakdown maintenance, component replacement, and ensuring optimal equipment reliability in a demanding industrial environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform hydraulic and mechanical fault finding on mobile and stationary equipment.
    • Carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
    • Remove, replace and repair major mechanical and hydraulic components.
    • Replace hydraulic hoses, fittings, seals, valves, cylinders, alternators and starter motors.
    • Replace blades and maintain blade clearances on mobile shear machines.
    • Conduct routine equipment inspections and quality checks.
    • Grease equipment and maintain oil levels across machinery.
    • Record and manage stock levels of frequently used oils, hydraulic components and spare parts.
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective maintenance.

    Requirements:

    • Red Seal Mechanical Fitter qualification.
    • Minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
    • Experience maintaining both stationary plant and earthmoving equipment.
    • Strong hydraulic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
    • Valid Code 8 driver's licence and own reliable transport.
    • Basic computer literacy with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

    • This role is suited to a hands-on construction professional with extensive experience managing large-scale civil works, leading site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the day-to-day execution of civil construction projects.
    • Plan and coordinate labour, plant, subcontractors, and materials.
    • Ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification.
    • Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.

    • This opportunity is ideal for a technically driven engineer who enjoys taking full ownership of projects, from initial design and development through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing optimisation.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Design electrical control systems and develop detailed electrical schematics.
    • Develop PLC, SCADA, and HMI software solutions for industrial automation projects.
    • Design control panels, generate bills of materials (BOMs), and specify electrical components.
    • Support procurement activities by selecting appropriate electrical equipment and instrumentation.
    • Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT), workshop testing, and system verification.

    • Solid understanding of industrial instrumentation, including 4–20 mA, RTDs, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and similar communication protocols.
    • Experience with motor control centres (MCCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), industrial control panels, and motor control systems.
    • Willingness to travel for site installations and commissioning as required.
