    Ecommerce Manager

    • We’re looking for a data-driven and commercially minded Marketplace & E-Commerce Manager to lead high-impact online marketplace operations and digital growth for a premier technology distributor. Based in the Midrand office, this is an exciting opportunity to completely own, manage, and scale an extensive multi-brand product catalog across major local online channels.
    • While you will lead the operational strategy, you will not be doing this alone – you will be backed by an extensive, highly supportive network of warehouse, finance, marketing, and technical sales teams to help execute your vision. If you’re passionate about backend marketplace execution, large-scale catalog optimization, and navigating complex e-commerce logistics, we’d love to hear from you.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop, own, and execute the daily operation and commercial performance of core online marketplace environments.
    • Manage the complete lifecycle of product listings, ensuring absolute data accuracy, optimal content, and listing health across extensive SKU catalogs.
    • Coordinate end-to-end logistics, from inventory forecasting and replenishment planning to warehouse coordination and marketplace labeling compliance.
    • Drive online revenue growth while optimizing Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), conversion rates, stock coverage, and overall account health.
    • Execute retail pricing and promotional strategies, including competitor benchmarking, price monitoring, and calculating viable margin structures.
    • Manage day-to-day marketplace portal activities, aggressively triaging operational exceptions, customer escalations, and disabled listings.
    • Build insightful performance reports using data analytics to present marketplace KPIs, sales run rates, and return trends to senior stakeholders.
    • Manage marketplace fee structures, profitability monitoring, and stock management to protect gross margins and minimize aged inventory.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal departments, including Marketing, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance, to maintain operational excellence.

    Requirements:

    • 3 to 5 years of recent, hands-on e-commerce experience managing a high-volume online marketplace ecosystem.

    • Familiarity with technology distribution, consumer electronics, ICT, networking, or smart home products is highly advantageous.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to measure retail KPIs, calculate product run rates, and manage fee structures.
    • Excellent stakeholder management, exceptional organizational abilities, and sharp problem-solving skills for resolving compliance disputes.
    • Ability to work permanently from our corporate office based in Midrand, Gauteng.

Solar Engineering Manager / Sales Engineer

    • We’re an independent power producer – we own the solar assets and hold the PPA agreements with our commercial clients. Installation is outsourced, so we need a technically strong engineer to protect our interests end-to-end: from feasibility through installation oversight to ongoing performance.

    What you’ll do:

    • Lead technical delivery on commercial solar installations (office buildings) – site assessments, system sizing/design, equipment selection, and installation quality control through to commissioning and sign-off
    • Oversee our outsourced installation partners, ensuring work is compliant, safe, and properly integrated with existing electrical infrastructure
    • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting post-installation, and monitor system performance over time
    • Conduct feasibility studies that translate technical findings into clear cost/savings comparisons against municipal tariffs – this analysis underpins every client proposal we put forward
    • Help grow our pipeline: identify viable properties and support business development as we scale

    What we’re looking for:

    • Qualified Electrical Engineer with hands-on solar/renewable installation experience – not just design, but real site delivery
    • Solid grasp of grid-tie/hybrid systems, inverters, battery storage, and relevant compliance standards (COC, NRS 097, municipal grid-tie requirements)
    • Experience identifying viable sites, running feasibility studies, and managing installations and client relationships through to performance monitoring
    • Comfortable engaging directly with clients on technical findings
    • Entrepreneurial background
