    Account Director

    About the job
    We are looking for an energetic account director champion, with at least six years’ agency experience, to join our client service team. You must have a flair for problem-solving, and nurturing and building lasting client relationships for the agency.

    About the role

    • To establish and maintain the client relationship standard of excellence for the agency to follow
    • To manage senior client expectations, and increase client satisfaction and engagement
    • To strategically consult to clients on their brand and communication strategies and campaigns
    • To identify and develop new opportunities within existing clients to maximise account growth
    • To determine the strategic direction and tone for all client accounts
    • To stay ahead of the curve on areas of the agency’s specialties and core competencies
    • To ensure all work is completed on time, delivered to the client’s strategy and budget
    • To manage tracking and reporting of performance to uphold team accountability and promote quality of service
    • To negotiate beneficial and competitive rates and contracts with client procurement teams
    • To pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency and client profitability
    • To actively input into the development of agency’s strategy
    • To promote the agency’s purpose, vision and values and strategic objectives (both internally and externally)
    • To establish strong relationships across all agency disciplines (creative, digital, etc)
    • To monitor and manage staff development, reviews and hiring for roles within client services
    • To mentor fellow employees
    • To actively manage campaigns across all channels, especially digital
    • Our expectations of your experience
    • Significant experience in a senior management or executive level position
    • Exemplary client service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships
    • In-depth understanding of all communication, digital and marketing disciplines
    • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail
    • Well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
    • Fluent, clear and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting
    • Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate
    • Ability to lead, motivate and influence others

    • This isn’t a role to grow into; you will need to be able to demonstrate you’re already delivering to this level, however we’ll offer you opportunities to learn and gain experience to improve your skills and stay and ahead of the game.

    Mid-Level Copywriter

    Job summary

    Videos, press releases, Instagram Stories, brochures, apps, infographics, websites – we do it all! In this role you’ll create content for a diverse range of clients in a variety of industries across all marketing and communication channels. No two days are the same!

    Our work environment is fast-paced and we expect quick turnarounds to meet deadlines, all while producing slick and engaging content. To apply for this role you must be passionate about all types of content and staying updated with the latest industry trends, to proactively identify content opportunities.

    Key responsibilities

    • Write clear, concise and grammatically correct content that is engaging and original
    • Understand a client’s strategy and create content that meets objectives
    • Translate a brief and develop excellent content with minimum guidance
    • Revise or redevelop content in response to internal or external feedback
    • Collaborate and brainstorm with creative, account management and digital teams
    • Pro-actively identify content opportunities and gaps and make recommendations
    • Conduct in-depth research on relevant topics and develop interesting and accurate content
    • Adhere to strict briefs and deadlines
    • Become familiar with a client’s products/services, tone and audience, and create content that ensures brand consistency
    • Develop content plans
    • Write content across various social media channels ensuring industry best practice
    • Create clear and high converting content for ads
    • Conduct interviews with clients and create compelling content
    • Brainstorm ideas and concepts for pitches, campaigns and client briefs

    Essential experience

    • Degree or diploma in copywriting, advertising, journalism or related field
    • 2-5 years of experience in a copywriting role
    • Previous experience in an agency is advantageous
    • Experience with long form writing is essential, B2B writing is advantageous
    • Competent video content writing experience
    • Solid understanding of SEO and social media channels

    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Finely honed copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
    • Highly creative, curious and absolutely passionate about content
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Good organisational and time-management skills
    • Respond well to feedback and ability to defend your creative choices
    • Strong research skills
    • A strategic and creative thinker
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and delivering quality work under pressure and multiple deadlines
    • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of management, both internally and externally
    • A comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape
    • Ability to adapt writing to different styles, tones and platforms, to appeal to various target audiences
