Duties include; but are not limited to:

•         Maintenance on explosives units and sites.
•         Required outputs: Functional
•         Inspect and service mechanical and electrical equipment
•         Faultfinding and problem solving on equipment
•         Record keeping
•         Conform to Enaex SHEQ system
•         Daily liaison with customer and or production personnel regarding equipment
•         Report to stakeholders on breakdowns and preventative maintenance
•         Spares ordering and distribution
•         Carry out basic administrative duties
•         Must be prepared to work underground
•         Must be prepared to work shifts when necessary
•         Must be prepared to do standby
•         Must have own transport
•         Actively participate as a team member on site
•         Safety conscious and practice good housekeeping
•         Conform to Enaex Africa values
•         Strong communication and organizing skills
•         Must be Able to work independently

Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

• Grade 12 with Math’s and Science(Must)
• Qualified Trade test of Electrician (Must)
• Code 11/14 driver’s license (wish) Min code 08 or 10 (Must)

Experience in the mining environment (wish)

•         Medically fit
•         Specific experience required
•         Sound mechanical knowledge
•         Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
•         1 – 3 years’ work experience

Description
 

FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS:

• Conduct basic first line fault finding,
• Applies Standard Operating Procedures
• Understand equipment failure modes and defect identification and reporting
• Demonstrate understanding of how equipment functions
• Quality assurance of the product
• Carry out plant inspections and take logs
• Report all at risk behaviours and unsafe conditions to the SPC/Process Artisan and/or Foreman
• Sampling as per schedules
• Maintain required housekeeping standards

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• In addition to a pre-employment medical examination, this position requires physical fitness assessment as part of the normal selection criteria.
