    Energy Sales Consultant

    Job description

    We have recently launched our retail division in South Africa and are currently looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Energy Sales Consultants to join our team in the Western Cape. Our team is made up of energetic and adaptable thinkers with a robust commitment to making Enel Energy SA the most recognised household name throughout Southern Africa.

    The Energy Sales Consultants will be at the forefront of delivering on our B2B and B2C expansion objectives. The role is best suited to target driven candidates that possess an advanced technical understanding and strong desire to achieve in a fast paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Differentiate the quality of Enel products and services from the competition through face to face presentations and demonstrations
    • Seek new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting and extensive networking
    • Connect with and influence high level decision makers (Business owners and property Managers)
    • Adopt a consultative business approach through the assessment of customer’s energy needs and facilitating on appropriate solutions to these needs
    • Report back weekly on the evolution of assigned leads and competitor activities
    • Manage a sales territory in order to proficiently generate leads and exceed sales targets
    • Effectively negotiate and close sales deals to drive profitability and market share
    • Schedule all appointments with pre-qualified leads, manage associated tasks and follow-up appointments in a professional manner
    • Compile site evaluation forms and prepare sales proposals/quotations to present back to clients timeously
    • Handle customer complaints and questions in coalition with the customer service team

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 2 years technical sales experience preferred. Solar industry or home automation experience is essential.
    • Ability to connect with decision makers and build long standing relationships
    • Must possess a high level of enthusiasm, energy and desire to be successful
    • Must be organised and able to manage time effectively to drive productivity
    • Be able to interpret technical data accurately and deliver exceptional customer service
    • Strong Interpersonal skills
    • Above average verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools
    • Own vehicle with a valid code B driver’s license
    • One year fixed term contract
    • Commission based

    Project Manager

    Job description

    We arelooking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager (Operations and Installations) for the Commercial and Industrial space to join our team in the Western Cape.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service contracts we have in place with local service providers and oversee the projects in order to support the overall operations strategy in line with the regional targets, objectives and operational deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish & maintain relationships with service providers & suppliers
    • Establish and continuously grow a network of installation partners while managing existing partnerships/contracts
    • Manage and control all administration related to the supplier including new contracts.
    • Develop and track project plans with the service providers
    • Conduct site visits to evaluate the service provider’s performance & the progress of the projects
    • Perform costing and pricing analysis on tender pricing submission to identify best pricing options for cost savings
    • Along with procurement department Administration of new and current Supplier contracts, including contract pricing adjustment and Supplier contract communication
    • Conduct contract audits
    • Coordination of logistic & distribution partners
    • Coordinate supplies in order to ensure the minimum stock level
    • Ensure technical support and assistance to installers through product manufacturers
    • Grant end-to-end control of pre/post sales activities (i.e. Guidelines for installers
    • Quality assessment installation & maintenance
    • Managing of technical partners, ensuring the execution of the proper training also in accordance to suppliers guidelines
    • Ensure company policy and practices are adhered to and apply corrective measures to improve and/or address supplier performances
    • Conduct demand forecasts and communicate accordingly with strategic partners in this regard
    • Service Desk management aimed at monitoring plants performances and alerts
    • Coordinate O&M & Incident management
    • Prepare feedback reports and present back weekly to the Regional Ops & Ins Manager on the evolution of key projects
    • Coordinate and conduct weekly meetings with installation agents to ensure team alignment
    • Handle customer complaints and queries in coalition with the customer service team
    • Adhoc projects and related duties

    Requirements:

    Educational

    • Related Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma or related electrical engineering qualification
    • Project management certification within a recognized institution advantageous

    Experience

    • A minimum of 4-6 years formal technical project management experience
    • Solar PV experience a must 1 year
    • Engineering or renewable energy background and experience is required

    Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced negotiation skills
    • Excellent business acumen
    • Ability to connect with decision makers and foster relationships
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily to meet deadlines
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
    • Must be able to work independently and in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent aptitude in Microsoft office with a broad understanding of CRM application tools
    • Own vehicle with a valid code EB drivers’ licence
