    Field Service Engr I

    • Support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will support revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will support cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Validate customer request
    • Provide technical insight to MES.
    • Seek opportunities to grow MES platform in Sasol.
    • Execute projects with excellence within scope, schedule and budget.
    • Provide client training where necessary.
    • Handover completed projects to the Platform team with sufficient documentation and training.
    • Perform offline testing and execute pilot implementations.
    • Assist with RCA's and disaster recovery where required.
    • Provide knowledge sharing and technical guidance to Platform team.
    • Maintain positive relations with clients and internally.
    • Identify opportunities for safety, quality, efficiency and cost competitiveness improvement. Support HSE and Quality.
    • Educate customer and field technicians
    • Write documentation used by field technicians
    • Ensure Right and Fast Delivery

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Computer Systems/Information Technology, or equivalent.
    • 5 to 10 Years’ Experience in the MES/Advanced Solutions Industrial / Petrochemical Environment.
    • OSIsoft PI: 3 years+Engineer with wide experience in implementing and supporting the PI system
    • Managing and troubleshooting issues with PI Systems
    • Strong knowledge and experience with PI clients such as PI Process Book, PI datalink and PI Coresight/PI Vision
    • Understanding and managing PI interfaces like OPC, RDBMS, ODBC, UFL, JDBC and PI to PI Configuration and troubleshooting of tags
    • Experience in designing and implementing asset-based data structures such as PI AF
    • Experience with business intelligence tools like PowerBI
    • Ability to interface with end users and clearly understand their needs and workflows while using the various systems
    • Ability to work in a global, complex environment with multiple stakeholders
    • Fosters and maintains excellent internal, client and third party relationships
    • High level understanding of Oil and Gas Production domain is preferred
    • Knowledge of the Sasol network, infrastructure and processes will be an added advantage

    Advanced Field Service Engr

    Ad Pr Eng(Performance Manager)

    • The Performance Manager is the sole position identified as responsible for specified contract and project(s) and serves as the primary high-level customer interface to ensure problem identification and resolution meets customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic Leadership to a multi-disciplined team consisting of an FSM, SOL and PM plus Service, Projects & Support specialists dealing with complex technical equipment and a highly sophisticated range of products and services.
    • Ensure the organization achieves its strategic growth objectives through attracting, developing, rewarding & retaining the necessary skills and resources.
    • Accurate planning and forecasting of business performance.
    • Aggressively deploying growth initiatives.
    • Partner with Project Automation and Advanced Solutions Business LOBs.
    • Work with the Sales team to drive additional orders and develop / capitalize on business opportunities.
    • Work with the Field Service Manager, Project Manager & Service Operations Leader to develop and establish an operational plan to provide the path for the operational processes i.e. Applicable CRM and SAP.
    • Communication with the Customer in accordance with a contract specific Communications Plan (supported by Stakeholder Analysis and RASCI).
    • Support the Service team in resolving incidents and troubleshooting of problems (including an escalation process for the customer).
    • Review system performance metrics and plan / manage accordingly.
    • Oversee all major upgrades and migrations.
    • Work within Customer’s change management process.
    • Serve as approver of all significant change requests.
    • Include an operational risk / benefit assessment for all significant changes (including a Risk Management Plan).
    • Participate in all pre-outage planning meetings and support all On-Process Migrations.
    • Review and advise the site on all project activities affecting the control system
    • Ensure documentation is updated.
    • Support the Field Service Manager, Project Manager & Service Operations Leader in developing and communicating training needs that would improve system performance or reliability (including Training Needs Analysis, Training Plan and Competency Matrix for Honeywell & Customer team members).
    • Manage third party underpinning contracts to ensure cost effective, appropriate quality and timely performance.
    • Partner with the FSM and PM to manage the close out of corrective actions (internal and external) by identifying the root causes and updating procedures to reflect improved ways of working.
    • Ensure compliance with a contract specific HSE Plan
    • Ensure that all required safety standards are understood and measured for full Honeywell compliance throughout the service business.
    • Be a spokesman for Honeywell’s safety culture and promote safety always. Metric development/reporting

    Senior Channel Sales Rep

    • Implement and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing Channel Sales and end user activities in Safety and Productivity Solutions. You will review status of opportunities and coordinate schedules and deliver status reports. You will assess channel management/account issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives. You will develop mechanisms for monitoring Channel / Account Sales progress and for problem solving with internal and external stakeholders

    Key Responsibilities

    • Channel Sales Activities (Establish long term business relationships with partners)
    • Manage /Channel (work closely with internal Honeywell Sales Team and partners by daily execute operational duties, discuss price, quantities, market trend, competition , and planning the right timing of availability of the products in order to establish long term relationship with distributors and partners Work closely with the channel partner in its sales opportunities, including qualification, development of joint strategies to win, etc… but also includes joint visibility on field and engagement with the channel Partners and reseller network.
    • Implement the regional sales programs and campaigns in the channel partner, as well as to develop and implement the necessary specific programs and initiatives for the channel partner to ensure the expected performance.
    • Develop new channels partners following regional strategic direction.
    • Keep the CRM system up to date with all sales related activity including (but not limited to) meeting schedules, meeting notes, contact persons, business plans, quotations, price requests, revenue forecast data, SKU requirement data, schedule dates and sales team members. Take responsibility for the data integrity in the system.
    • Provide Customer Support (Organizing NPIs, product portfolio training for the partners based on competency skill analysis with support by Product Marketing Managers and Solution Architects) in order to develop channel partners in relation to our product lines and sales methodologies. Close relationship with service team to be sure better customer experience.to exceed customer expectations.
    • Deliver Status Reports (Weekly review of backlog and monthly partner targets, delivering QBR (Quarterly Business Review),
    • Be able to report weekly performance to the leadership of specific opportunities. Furthermore, sales data, new product releases, sales trending and all other key performance indicators should be monitored and managed on a pro-active and continual basis

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree, equivalent.
    • Some experience in the field, technology, IT, Telecom, channel management, key account management
