    Newly Qualified CA(SA) / Internal Auditor

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Qualified as a CA(SA).
    • MS Office and advanced Excel.
    • Report writing skills.
    • Able to travel throughout Johannesburg.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Assessing and understanding business processes to identify key controls and risks.
    • Critically evaluating the internal control environment, identifying risks, and drafting a suitable audit programme to test these controls.
    • Performance of audits to identify control deficiencies, potential frauds, regulatory compliance deficiencies and management policies or procedures deviations.
    • Prepare work papers, computations, and statistical reports to ensure compliance with established control procedures.
    • Use sound judgment and creativity to formulate practical recommendations in response to control deficiencies/inefficiencies.
    • Apply audit experience to resolve more advanced, complex audit elements, including issues escalated by management.
    • Exercise individual judgment in audit approach.
    • Drafting of audit reports and presentation to senior management.
    • Build, maintain and manage professional relationships with management.
    • Assist with implementation of recommendations and perform follow-up audits to verify that controls have been implemented and are operating effectively.
    • Work within the audit team to design and implement process improvements.
    • Contribute to appropriate development of the audit team (e.g., training, coaching/mentoring, etc.).

    Junior Accountant (SAIPA)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric (at least 4 distinctions).
    • Relevant Accounting degree (Cum Laude beneficial).
    • Completed SAIPA Articles.
    • Own reliable transport.

    Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

    • Part of full Debtors’ control (Accounts Receivable) function.
    • Part of full Creditor’s control (Accounts Payable) function,
    • Part of full Accountant function, as teamwork is an essential part of this job.
    • Bank statement capturing.
    • Reconciliations.
    • Processing and balance confirmation.
    • Capturing cash receipts and payments.
    • General Ledger: Generate and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
    • Assist with other accounting projects to support the CFO and Finance team.

    Additional Information:

    • Regular working hours are Monday to Friday: 08h00 – 17h00.
    • For the first eight weeks of the year, as well as four weeks in the middle of the year, the working hours will be 07h00 till 19h00.
