What you’ll do

• Coordinate warranty and non-conformance claims and act as warranty case project manager
• Own actions related to claims, ensuring completion in cooperation with key stakeholders and experts
• Maintain communication and reporting with the Claim Owner, Market Areas, and business line
• Identify repetitive issues and assist in driving cost reduction for the Mill Lining warranty
• Represent Mill Lining within the Metso quality community 
• Support finance with warranty reserve bookings
• Support continuous improvement and ensure best practice sharing
• Ensure compliance to Metso processes, policies, and guidelines

Who you are

• You bring several years of industry experience from the management of quality topics within your business
• Diploma / B.E Mechanical with experience in Mill Lining highly desirable
• Enthusiastic about generating customer value and leading through data
• Goal-oriented, process driven, and fully compliant with company policies and local regulations
• Strong desire to contribute to our continued success. As a collaborative team member you have a proven track record in navigating different environments and cultures.
• Excellent business understanding with the ability to continuously improve operations
• Full working proficiency in English.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Responsible to deliver improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites
• Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants
• Responsibility to create the relationship with the key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces
• Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward
• Focuses on after-market business yet is able to identify the investment/capex opportunities and is responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales
• Plans and has full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site
• Seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer facing activities
• Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso’s added value
• Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer’s capex and Opex related decisions and buying timetable
• Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan)
• Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan
• Orchestrates Customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities
• Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections
• Active member of the MA Key Account/Global Key Account team I/A

WHO YOU ARE

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelors’ Degree or BTech – Chemical / Process Engineering will be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on concentrator plant
• Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous
• Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment
• Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI and PowerPoint
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust
• Strong communication skills and a serving leader
