    Temp Operator Warehouse - (50207450)

    Job Purpose

    • Reporting to the Warehouse Foreman, the successful incumbent will ensure the efficient storage and timely dispatch of saleable products as well as to efficiently store and deliver batches to internal production centers.

    Education: Essential:

    • Matric – (Maths and Physical Science) \ NTC3

    Job Experience

    • Must have 1 year manufacturing experience / be a Qualified production learner and
    • Must have minimum 1 year experience in driving the Forklift and Clamp Truck.

    Key Performance Areas

    • The incumbent must comply with Mondi & Finishing Safety rules and Procedures.
    • The incumbent must be experienced in operating Linde clamp-trucks, Linde double-pallet handling forklifts and Linde bale clamps
    • The incumbent must comply with all Warehouse Quality control and Scanning systems.
    • The incumbent must complete administrative tasks such as:- completing vehicle check-lists, quality check-lists, tally-sheets, etc
    • The incumbent must support and offload packaging deliveries to the Mill timely.
    • The incumbent must safely and effectively load and unload containers and trucks
    • The incumbent must load trucks accurately to customer requirements.
    • The incumbent is required to load Hardwood/Softwood conveyors as and when required.

    Job Competencies/ Attributes/Skills– Essential

    • Forklift and clamp trucks driver’s license, operation of various warehousing equipment.
    • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Stuffing and de-stuffing of containers.
    • Incumbent must be able to work under pressure.
    • Incumbents must be willing to work shifts according to the Mondi 4-shift pattern.
    • Applicants must be team-players and solution-orientated
    • Basic computer literacy.

    Job Purpose

    • Reporting to the Production Foreman, the incumbent will be required to operate the cut-size work centre in accordance to the standard time efficiency and material efficiency targets.

    Education

    • Matric (Maths and Physical Science) / NTC3 OR
    • ABZ basic (desirable)

    Community Development Manager SQF - (1054)

    MIN EDUCATION REQUIRED:    

    • Matric/Grade 12 
    • TERTIARY: ESSENTIAL   

    Degree/Btech: Social Science or Development Studies

    JOB EXPERIENCE

    MINIMUM YEARS:         

    • Five years of solid work experience within the Social development field with knowledge of CSI and land reform.

    LICENCES/MANDATORY TRAINING:    

    • Drivers License

    RESPONSIBILITIES / KPAS:

    • Ensure that the stakeholder engagement meetings with the community liaison committee, community trusts and other stakeholders do take place.
    • Manage & monitor the implementation of the Community Engagement Plans (CEP’s)
    • Identify & establish good relations with stakeholders and create engagement platforms for stakeholders.  Responsible for SQF Stakeholder Database.
    • Capability building of local stakeholders, trusts, and communities.
    • Support of community trusts and provide guidance, ensure compliance with the trust deed, and arrange pre-board meetings.
    • Manage the overall implementation of CSI projects as approved by the Social Sustainable Committee (SSC).
    • Engagement with DFF and ensure compliance with clause 46 of the lease agreement; attend the RCC meeting as required by the lessor and report any breach of lease conditions to relevant authority and management.
    • Ensure that the community does not encroach on designated areas.
    • Land claims – manage good relations with the land claimants.
    • Budget Management – management of funds to ensure that the expenditure remains under budget, ensure cost-saving drive, and monitor wasteful expenditure.
    • People Management & Development - supervision/mentoring of subordinates to ensure that they achieve their KPA’s.  Empowerment of team members. Staff wellness and retention.
    • Ensure that reports are submitted timeously. 
    • Develop clear processes of ESD/SED and the correct use of BBBEE templates; development and implement ESD strategy and ensure compliance with the legislation.
    • Implementation of sustainable community development programs.
    • Ensure the BBBEE report and portfolio of evidence are submitted on time. Attend to all queries raised by auditors on SED/ESD elements.
    • Collaboration and partnering with government and other development agencies on SED and CSR programs.
    • Create awareness and visibility of our program, manage expectations and risks, and keep up to date with SQF’s communication plans.
    • Livestock Management - ensure compliance with FSC and environmental requirements, while respecting community user rights.
    • Ensure that all FSC requirements with regards to communities are complied with, keeping records of legal compliance with FSC requirements for annual audit.
    • When CAR reports are given by FSC auditors ensure the timeous closure thereof.
    • Ensure compliance with FSC and environmental and Basic Human Rights requirements.

    • MS Office essential / General computer literacy is a prerequisite.

    Process Engineer - (1055)

    Job Purpose:

    • Reporting to the Head of Power and Utilities, the successful incumbent will need to implement optimal asset management strategy to achieve safe and reliable plant operations.

    Qualifications & Expertise:

    • B.Sc. / BTech Chemical Engineering

    Job Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years Industrial Process optimization experience within a Pulp and Paper Industry
    • 3 - 5 years Power and Utilities experience will be advantageous
    • Experience in a supervisory position will be advantageous.
    • Code 08 / EB License

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Conduct investigations to establish process or design efficiencies or deficiencies and identify range of possible solutions.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and justify and present proposals, to management, based on expected benefits and estimated costs.
    • Develop conceptual design by determining scope, requirements, objectives and develop process engineering design methods.
    • Develop detailed process design and refine scope and design.
    • Determine financial requirements, project management plan and generate the capex documents. Finalise implementation plan.
    • Develop and implement project engineering plan.
    • Assist projects department with project implementation.
    • Commission the start-up of the plant and hand over to the Production department.
    • Compile the evaluation report and updates process documentation of all completed projects.
    • Ensured health, safety, environmental, housekeeping and quality requirements are met at all times.
