    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Cost Accounting System Improvement

    • Enhance and maintain cost accounting structures, including BOM accuracy, labour rates, run times, overhead allocations, and scrap percentages.

    Cost Accounting & Analysis

    • Update and manage standard costing systems.
    • Perform product costings, variance and margin analysis, and report under-recoveries.
    • Monitor machine rates, PPV, WIP, tooling and maintenance variances, and BOM accuracy.
    • Reconcile actual vs standard material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities with Operations.

    Budgeting, Forecasting & Management Reporting

    • Support annual budgets, forecasts, and departmental reporting.
    • Track and report budget performance, cost variances, and customer recovery margins.
    • Manage tooling project budgets and load requisition budgets in Syspro.

    Inventory Valuation & Control

    • Create stock codes, support stock audits, and assist with physical inventory checks.

    Financial Accounting Support

    • Assist with audit queries related to inventory and cost of sales.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • Degree in Finance / Cost Accounting.  CIMA preferred
    • Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar position within the manufacturing sector
