    Softgels Visual Inspector

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a keen visual inspector to operate and troubleshoot the Visual Inspection System while ensuring the accurate grading, washing, sorting, and polishing of soft-gel capsules. The role requires maintaining full compliance with GMP standards and consistently meeting predefined production rates to uphold product quality and operational efficiency

    What you will do

    • Operate the tumblers and ensure lint free cloths are placed in the tumblers during the tumbling process, resetting the HMI to resume the cycle. Remove product from tumblers, drying trollies, decant into specified containers and labelVerify product identification and batch numbers on tumblers and trolleysWash capsules with solvents in a capsule washer as per schedule.Do pre-start-up checks on the Visual Inspection System including the metal detector tests. Continuously inspect all products in blue bins as per SOP before packing onto palletsSort capsules manually on the sorting table to identify defective capsules according to SOPRecord relevant data on MES according to SOP Dispose of rejected capsules according to SOP and track the weight of rejected capsules.Maintain housekeeping standards in the departmentInspect and clean all equipment in the Visual Inspection area, sorting area and ensure safety devices are working effectively.
    • Label all containers and trollies to avoid cross contamination

    What are we looking for:

    Job Requirements
    What We’re Looking For:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Cost Accounting, Finance, or related field; CIMA qualification is a plus
    • ERP system proficiency (e.g., Syspro, Sage, SAP)

    Head of Supply Chain / Procurement Manager

    • We’re looking for a Head of Supply Chain / Procurement Manager to take full accountability for our end-to-end supply chain and procurement function within a growing food manufacturing environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly enable production continuity, food safety excellence and sustainable business growth.
    • You’ll own the flow of all ingredients and packaging — from supplier to Syspro to production — embedding robust planning, procurement discipline and inventory integrity. Working closely with Production, Quality, Finance and Commercial teams, you’ll be a trusted partner who balances collaboration with firm governance and high standards.

    About you:

    • You bring senior procurement or supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing, a strong grasp of ingredients, packaging and shelf-life planning, and confidence working in ERP systems (Syspro preferred). You’re structured, calm under pressure, commercially sharp and known for enforcing process while building strong cross-functional relationships.

    What you will do:

    • Own end-to-end procurement of all ingredients and packaging (PAC)
    • Convert forecasts into clear, disciplined purchasing and stock plans
    • Set and manage min/max stock levels to balance availability, shelf life and cost
    • Embed strong Syspro and purchase-order discipline (no PO, no receipt)
    • Ensure inventory accuracy through FIFO/FEFO, cycle counts and variance control
    • Lead receiving and stores operations in line with GMP and food-safety standards
    • Build strong, accountable supplier partnerships and lead negotiations
    • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Finance and Commercial teams
    • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement and stores team
    • Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and risk reduction

    Job Requirements
    Experience & Qualifications

    Essential

    • Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in supply chain and procurement, with senior leadership exposure
    • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Operations or Business
    • Proven experience within food manufacturing or FMCG (ingredients & packaging)
    • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro preferred; SAP or Sage acceptable)
    • Solid understanding of GMP, food safety, shelf-life and inventory control
    • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, cost optimisation and risk management
