Cost Accountant at Nurture Brands

Meze Foods, a dynamic leader in the food manufacturing sector, is seeking an energetic Cost Accountant to take ownership of product costing, yield analysis, and margin optimisation across our vibrant operations.
• This isn’t just a desk job. You’ll work closely with our production teams, diving into operational processes to ensure financial accuracy and support smart, data-driven decisions that drive business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintain accurate standard costs and BOMs in our ERP system
• Analyse cost variances and monitor gross margins by product, category, and customer
• Collaborate with operations to align financial data with real-time production performance
• Support pricing, new product development, and forecasting with robust cost-based insights
• Ensure system integrity while contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years’ experience in cost accounting within food manufacturing or FMCG (essential)
• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Accounting, Finance, or related field; CIMA qualification is a plus
• ERP system proficiency (e.g., Syspro, Sage, SAP)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach
