    Junior Communications Writer (Internship)

    Job Description

    • Raizcorp is looking for a junior communications writer (one year internship) who loves turning product updates and technical information into clear, useful content people actually read. You’ll support multiple communities across two of our premium software platform ecosystems by writing weekly updates, release communications, and building out help content (FAQs, glossaries, knowledge bases, and more).
    • If you enjoy software, learning new systems, and making complex things simple — this position is for you.

    What you’ll be responsible for:

    You will be required to produce weekly content for multiple communities, including (but not limited to):

    • System partners (resellers)
    • System users
    • System administrators
    • Company employees (who have access to these systems)
    • Partner Elite Community
    • Unique partner communities

    Your key deliverables will include:

    • Communication on new and upcoming features
    • Post-release communications (what changed, what to expect, what to do)
    • Writing and maintaining internal system copy, including:
    • FAQs
    • System definitions and dictionary content
    • Glossaries
    • Knowledge base articles / help docs
    • Creating how-to videos using screen-mirroring software (very likely a regular requirement)
    • Supporting community “management” by maintaining community databases (accuracy, completeness, keeping records up to date)

    What we’re looking for:

    • Some experience writing documents and articles (work, internship, freelance, student publications – we will require a portfolio of evidence if you are shortlisted for interview)
    • Strong written English and a clear, structured writing style
    • An A symbol for English in Matric (required)
    • A suitable degree (literature/writing/English/communications/journalism) required
    • Comfortable working with detail and deadlines (weekly output)
    • Any exposure to technical writing (SaaS, systems, user guides, SOPs, release notes, help articles) will be an advantage.
    • Experience writing for online communities or customer/user communication will be an advantage
    • Basic video creation/editing for screen-recorded tutorials (even simple) will be an advantage
    • 2–3 writing samples (links or PDFs). At least one should show structured, instructional writing if possible (e.g., a how-to article, explainer, SOP, help doc, or similar).

    • Raizcorp is seeking a Conceptual Graphic Designer — a creative professional passionate about crafting visual concepts that communicate ideas, stories, and messages with clarity and impact.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for transforming abstract or complex ideas into visually compelling designs that engage and inspire our audiences. You will work across a range of media including print, digital, and multimedia, collaborating closely with our creative and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
    • You’ll manage the entire design process, from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality creative outputs that align with our brand and project objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop original designs, concepts, and layouts that demonstrate strong visual and aesthetic principles.
    • Assist in creating artwork for campaigns — including landing pages, emails, banners, social media posts, website assets, and other deliverables.

    Bookkeeper

    Job purpose

    • The Bookkeeper is a key member of the Raizcorp team and embodies the organisation’s spirit through exceptional service delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring that all entrepreneur accounts are processed with the highest level of care, accuracy and professionalism. The Bookkeeper holds a fiduciary duty to Raizcorp and its entrepreneurs by ensuring that all accounts are correct, compliant and insightful, enabling entrepreneurs to understand and effectively manage their financial information.
    • The Bookkeeper provides bookkeeping and financial analytics services to entrepreneurs across various Raizcorp programmes, using Sage One Cloud Accounting.

    Key responsibilities

    • Create new companies on Sage One Cloud.
    • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all data captured across Raizcorp systems (including Amber) and manage the collection and collation of Sustainability Bricks related to bookkeeping.
    • Adhere to all Raizcorp quality requirements, systems and processes, and proactively stay informed of new systems or process updates.
    • Maintain a minimum bookkeeping quality score of 85% per quarter across the entire portfolio.
    • Follow up on outstanding bookkeeping documentation as per the Bookkeeping Compliance process.
    • Capture source documents and perform full-function bookkeeping: debtors, creditors, cashbook, general ledger and monthly management accounts.
    • Address issues raised on management accounts by the Senior Bookkeeper, Accountant or Finance Guides within required timelines.
    • Schedule daily work in alignment with entrepreneur meeting schedules and Finance Guide requirements.
    • Review and analyse management accounts before submitting them to the Senior Bookkeeper, Accountant and Finance Guides.
    • Prepare VAT reports for all VAT-registered companies.
    • Develop and implement projects as required.
    • Ensure all bookkeeping quality standards are met or exceeded.
    • Provide training and guidance to entrepreneurs on bookkeeping compliance and documentation requirements.
    • Prepare and submit status reports as outlined in the Bookkeeping Compliance process.
    • Manage and process the Raizcorp in-house debtor system.
    • Conduct due diligence checks on companies applying to Raizcorp programmes.
    • Attend weekly and monthly internal meetings, including:
    • Weekly staff meetings
    • Weekly Guide meetings
    • Complete all required internal training, examinations and simulations, maintaining the required pass marks (80% for examinations and 65% for simulations).
    • Assist other departments when capacity allows, including:
    • Process creation
    • Data processing
    • Administrative duties
    • Calling requirements
    • Other tasks reasonably required by Raizcorp

    Skills, competencies and minimum requirements
    Minimum criteria:

    • At least 3 years’ bookkeeping experience working with multiple companies or sets of books.
    • A tertiary finance or bookkeeping qualification (non-negotiable).
    • Experience working on Sage One Cloud Accounting.
    • Experience managing between 16 and 22 companies.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proven ability to review and analyse management accounts.

    Key Account Manager

    • This is not a passive account maintenance role. You will be the go-to for a portfolio of high-value corporate clients. Your mission?     The experience you will need to apply:

    • 10+ years' experience in sales, with at least 4 years in key account management.
    • 5+ years of experience in solution sales to corporate clients.
    • Strong facilitation skills - you should own the boardroom.
    • Comfort with data, presentations, and project management.
    • Excellent CRM discipline and Microsoft Office skills.
    • The proven ability to juggle multiple moving parts without dropping the ball.
    • A deep love for people and a genuine interest in their growth.
    • Thick skin, a growth mindset, and enough grit to run a marathon.
    • Experience in Salesforce an advantage.
