    PGCE Coordinator (Faculty of Applied Psychology) - Cape Town Campus

    • SACAP is looking for a PGCE Coordinator for our Cape Town campus; for the Applied Psychology Faculty. The PGCE Coordinator (Postgraduate Certificate in Education [PGCE]) is a full-time position for all relevant campuses at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP).
    • This role will be responsible for the programme coordination and management of the Professional PGCE programme, including teaching and supervision of work-integrated learning (WIL) components of the programme in the Applied Psychology Faculty at an institutional level.
    • In addition to managing and supporting students through the PGCE academic and WIL programme, the Programme Coordinator should be familiar with all new developments within the discipline of education and their application to SACAP’s PGCE programme.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
    • A minimum of 3 years registration with the SACE is essential.
    • Preferably 2 years working experience in a similar role.
    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
    • Proficiency in programme coordination and administrative tasks.
    • Knowledge of industry trends.
    • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

    Senior Learning Technologist

    • SACAP is looking for a Senior Learning Technologist.
    • The Senior Learning Technologist will act as a specialist in supporting online and blended learning programmes through the implementation of learning technologies and AI tools. Plays a leading role in the implementation and day-to-day management of learning technology systems and tools, helping to ensure efficient and high-quality user experiences.
    • The Senior Learning Technologist is responsible for working closely with the Learning Design team, the Academic Team and Student Administration to ensure that learning technologies support SACAP’s Teaching and Learning Strategy through appropriate onboarding, support, and training.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A relevant Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
    • Education/Curriculum/Learning & Teaching
    • Education/Instructional Design or Educational Technology
    • Information Systems/Computer Science with a strong learning/education focus
    • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working with Learning Technologies in a Higher Education or similar academic environment.
    •  Proficiency in one or more major LMS platforms such Moodle, Canvas, OpenEdx, Blackboard etc.

    Brand Manager (Head Office)

    • The Brand Manager supports the development and implementation of brand communication strategies across all touchpoints. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent brand presence (for both SACAP College and SACAP Global) through effective oversight of all communication.
    • This role ensures both divisions (SACAP College and SACAP Global) are effectively positioned and consistently represented across all touchpoints through refined brand messaging and communication.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, brand management, communication or related field.
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in marketing or integrated communication roles.
    • Proven experience managing brand and marketing communications (visual and copy) from planning to execution.
    • Experience reviewing creative work (copy and design) for brand alignment.
    • A clear understanding of brand and marketing principles.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially digital and marketing.
    • Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity systems.
    • Competence in briefing, managing, and evaluating creative and campaign deliverables.
    • Strong project management experience, with the ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and external suppliers.
    • Industry experience in higher education.

    SKILLS

    • Solid understanding of integrated marketing channels (traditional + digital).
    • Strong project management skills, including timeline and stakeholder coordination.
    • Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning and visual identity systems.
    • Writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to refine messaging for clarity, tone and brand consistency.
    • Ability to review and evaluate creative work (copy and design) for alignment with brand guidelines and existing corporate identity.
    • Competence in developing clear briefs and translating brand strategy into effective messaging frameworks.
