    Finance Manager

    The role

    • Reporting directly into the FD. The FM is responsible for the co-creation and implementation of the organisation’s strategic financial management and reporting, business analysis, budgeting, controls, and forecasting. To ensure ongoing viability and secure financial future in line with the organisation’s business objective.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic financial support and guidance to the organisation.
    • Ensure financial controls are designed, implemented, and managed within the organisation based on overall company guidelines.
    • Analyse, report and review on organisational profitability, trends, and balance sheet
    • Prepare and communicate Board Reports
    • Manage the budget process including CAPEX in line with group processes and guidelines.
    • Deliver capital management of projects to determine and guide activities that produce attractive rate of return.
    • Provide actionable, relevant and time sensitive insight and information to business leaders to enable key business and strategic decisions.
    • Provide Finance leadership on Process Efficiency, Business Performance Measures and Management, Analytical Support and Predictive Analysis
    • Integrate internal business information with market events and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities and formulate strategy.
    • Be responsible and report on the overall business risk assessment and management process of the organisation, ensuring with the CFO, adequately assess and document risks faced by the organisation.
    • Financial systems designed, implemented, and maintained.
    • Accounting policy and developments, staying abreast and implementation.
    • Responsible for the management of the agency’s Tax Risk and relationship with SARS
    • Responsible for integrated planning process
    • Management of Group Finance team
    • Primary relationship with Groups Auditors, and reporting to management and statutory financial reporting

    Experience/Qualifications

    • CA (SA)
    • 5 -7 years post article experience
    • Articles completed at one of the big 4 firms.
    • International Group Reporting experience
    • Exposure to SOX controls
    • BBEEE/Compliance and Audit experience

    Mid-weight Art Director

    How You Will Spend Your Time
    Conceptualise and execute high quality creative solutions based on strategy for a client within an allocated time and budget

    • Understand client strategies, business problems and briefs, and translate these into creative solutions and executions.
    • Know and understand clients’ corporate identities and needs.
    • Working with a copywriter to conceptualise and execute great ideas.
    • Crafting and finish to the highest possible standard all artwork relating to a specific job or campaign
    • Art direct projects to maintain and grow the brand’s identity and stature.
    • Maintaining brand consistency through various channels and platforms
    • Brief and art direct photographers/photoshoots
    • Brief and art direct illustrators
    • Liaise with the Traffic Department to ensure the job deadline is adhered to.
    • Briefing and coordinate with production and repro – especially on retouching and final make-ups.
    • Reviewing work with the Creative Director & Strategy, followed by AM.
    • Delivering presentations to pitch concepts to AM and Client
    • Work within a highly charged team environment and be a support to fellow team members.
    • When required review work and provide feedback to junior team members
    • To interpret briefs and execute the designs according to client style guides and creative intelligence.
    • Work accurately.
    • Liaise effectively and clearly with Traffic, Art Directors, AM, production, repro, and suppliers.
    • Work within allocated time and budget

    Qualifications/ Experience

    • Matric
    • Design degree or relative advertising school diploma/certificate
    • Must have 3-4 years industry experience.

    Lead Strategist skilled in both communication strategy and digital strategy (10 years)
    Experience spanning across multiple industries including financial services, telecommunications, technology, FMCG and retail as well as multi-regional strategic planning experience across Africa.

    • Digital strategy translating lead agency communication strategies across the conversion funnel.

    • Experience in synthesis of research and business data into insights and idea generation.
    • Ability to collaborate with creative team in developing concepts and campaigns.
    • Anticipates and develops solutions to client needs and problems.
