Requirements

      Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
• 2 years as a Registered Nurse in an NGO/Community Clinic or a Hospital Environment
• VMMC training certificate
• Drivers licence
• SANC Registration

       Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
• HIV/AIDS Management Course
• 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an a Community Nursing Health setting or Hospital setting

      Key Performance Areas

• Assess, examine and diagnose patient’s clinical conditions and triage
• Do relevant blood tests and observations/vital signs
• Interpret HIV test results, follow up on inaccuracies
• Assist with the process and implementation of VCT (Voluntary Testing and Counselling)/ HCT (HIV Counselling and Testing)
• Design and Implement nursing care plans, monitor and evaluate patients’ progress
• Perform pap smears on all HIV infected patients yearly monitor and refer appropriately
• Assist with the process of implementing PMTCT (Prevention from Mother to Child Treatment) TB (Tuberculosis) programmes / services at the site
• Implement NIMART as mandated in Section 38A
• Record keeping of all relevant patient information on files (Therapy Edge)
• Refer appropriately
• Supervise and coordinate activities of all subordinators
• Participate in the site in-service training program
• Compile monthly and daily reports of ART patients
• Ensure efficient coordination of the anti retroviral site, its referrals networks and ensure sustenance of the ART Programme
• Keep abreast with present developments in the field
• To participate in research projects relevant to the specific field
• Generate relevant reports and do follow ups on inaccuracies

Description

• To plan, coordinate and offer medical male circumcision.

Requirements

      Required Minimum Education &  Experience 

• Clinical Assosciate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medical Practice
• VMMC Training Course
• At least 1-year experience in a Public Health setting 
• Drivers license      

Desirable Experience 

• At least 1-year experience in a surgical setting at a Medical Male Circumcision facility.

Key Performance Indicators 

• Maintain and respond to QA assessments.
• Implement Voluntary Male Circumcision Programme at facility level in accordance with Provincial and South African national guide.
• Ensure Comprehensive package of VMMC services available.
• Management of VMMC related adverse events.
• Participate in research projects relevant to the specific field.
• Liaise with the Outreach Officer and Social Mobilisers to ensure effective recruitment of clients.
• Keep abreast with developments in the field.
• Familiar with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Description

To distribute equipment / consumables, pull mobile and transport and transport clients and staff.

Key Performance 

• Keep the Vehicles, Mobile clinics and Trailers

• Keep track on the vehicle date of service and ensure RTC Management is informed in advance when the service date is approaching.
• Report vehicle accidents immediately to supervisor and to insurance
• Keep track of renewal dates for registration and vehicle license and ensure RTC Management is informed about deadlines at least one month in advance.
• Assist in opening/setting up of the Mobile during outreach.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Mobile
• Reporting Mobile Pull the Mobile to designated areas of work maintenance problems in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Code EC or C1 driver's license
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• 2 years' experience as a driver 
• Counselling skills will be an Advantage.

     Desirable Experience 

• 1 year experience in organising and overseeing health promotion activities in various cultural-specific contexts 
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and local languages
