Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

• South African DC team is responsible for Distribution Center (DC) and outbound partners performance. Forecast and Planning, drive and supports operations fulfilment for outbound & Returns and measure / analyze DC performance. This by implementing and analyzing relevant reports and KPIs. Owning the planning and execution of Store Openings and Campaigns, the manager y. The DC controller ensures a smooth, transparent, and robust connection between all relevant stakeholders from inside and outside of the organization regarding work- and information flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operations via management of the existing 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL); DC and Outbound Providers
• Accountable for ecommerce last mile delivery performance and overall ecommerce SCM performance
• Responsible to align, B2B and B2C: Inbound, Outbound & Return Forecasts with business and stakeholders, translate these into an execution plan, track and monitor accuracy and analyze trends.
• In close cooperation with 3PL, plan and align the warehouse capacity for outbound & returns for B2B and B2C business
• Monitor and report on all inventory areas, measuring accuracies and losses to the agreed contract SLA’s and KPIs
• Inventory forecasting and reporting: Capacity forecasting and reporting, DC utilization, improve stock accuracy. Monitor cycle counting activities, perform inventory reconciliation between physical quantities, WMS and AFS and ensure stock adjustments timely done with required approvals documented covering B2B, B2C and eCom.
• Own the planning and monitoring of campaigns and events (especially Cyber Planning & Holiday Readiness) and Store Openings.
• Ensure a meaningful and robust daily monitoring and audit of the order flow. Follow up on fulfilment requests, complains and incidents. Provide feedback to stakeholder and requestors in a detailed and timely manner.
• Own SLA update and control all appropriate operational and management reports and dashboards for assigned business and operations processes Closely follow up on enhancements and drive SLA Achievements, for DC ops and outbound distribution providers.
• Contribute to Supply Chain related projects
• Be responsible and manage business escalations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree Level Qualification in Engineering or Supply Chain.
• Master/Post-degree certifications in Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management and/or Engineering are preferred
• 2 - 3 years of experience in Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Project management, Retail Operations
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, ERP/SAP, WMS
• Excellent skills in communication and negotiation

Purpose

• Ensures that the order book of South Africa is delivered accordingly to sales on time in full to the customers requested date.
• The order fulfillment team works with supply chain team, DC Ops teams, Sales Channels and cross functional departments in order to manage the order book and ensure proper service levels and on time delivery.
• Provide Order Fulfillment analysis and support for the organization. Accountable for continuous process improvements for Order Fulfillment topics and delivering on time availability, allocation, OTIF and maintain Order Book.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the process covering selection, delivery of the products to the local customers.
• Maintaining the order book regularly
• Coordinating and following of pre-order deliveries of all sales channels.
• Track and deliver all launched according to the hard launch dates

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring and proactive reporting including proposals and recommendations for the management team.
• Ensure customer/channel success by ensuring product availability for campaigns and key launches
• ADHOC exception management reporting
• Follow up the availability and pre-order management- monitor the available products and elaborate availabilities.
• Following the launch and campaigns products and inform the warehouse about the launch dates to deliver the articles on the right time.
• Analyze the order book and collaborate across functional areas to achieve overall KPI: OTIF- OTA.
• Sell in analysis based on consolidation reports.
• Contribute to key strategic initiatives
• Review and control the allocation status of the available articles in the system (SAP) and take the necessary actions if there’s a problem to be solved.
• Creating delivery notes for selected articles to the Warehouse for picking & packing.
• Maintain the order book with cleansing or updating the sales order accordingly.
• Review of incomplete orders
• Drive a full understanding of end-to-end processes within the business
• Validate the trade terms and sales pricing of the sales orders

Requisite Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (focus on Logistic)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in logistic or customer service department
• Advance level in MS Office programs including Excel, SAP knowledge is an asset
• Pro-active and customer-oriented mindset
• Well organized with the ability to plan and schedule work
• Analytical, result oriented, strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
