The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Routine maintenance on processing equipment
• Attending to unscheduled processing interruptions resulting from breakdowns during shift
• Installation and maintenance of processing equipment, including weekends
• Manage production, mechanical and electrical workflow
• Continuous interaction and communication with management
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, HACCAP requirements and standards
• Adhere and maintain the 20 Keys model in the department

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in electrical/mechanical repair of poultry processing and rendering plant equipment
• Ability to diagnose and rectify problems in an electrical plant
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a high pressurized environment
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Must be pro-active and ability to work accurately
• Must be flexible and able to work weekends and irregular hours
• Must have reliable transport

The ideal candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for assisting with the following:

• Assist artisans with start-up inspections.
• Assist artisans with general maintenance work.
• Assist artisans with breakdown maintenance work.
• General cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Cleaning of workshop and workshop equipment.
• Cleaning and sanitising tools.
• Handling and transporting of tools and parts on site.
• Perform maintenance and assist as per artisan’s instruction.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum grade 12.
• Fluent in English and a second official language.
• Technical related experience is required.
• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage.
• Be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Must have reliable transport.
• Adhering to 20 Keys principles and general housekeeping rules.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Responsible for Broiler houses.
• Managing staff, risk management and bio-security.
• Clear understanding of registers, graphs, vaccination, ventilation and bin reading.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• A Matric Qualification.
• 5 years relevant Broiler experience in supervising a large poultry production complex.
• Computer knowledge will be an advantage.
• High standard towards housekeeping and attention to detail.
• Clear understanding of 20 Keys.
• The successful applicant must be self-motivated and have excellent people skills.
