    Strategic Business Development Consultant - UK Enterprise Software - R450K OTE

    Description

    • Are you a university graduate who's had your first taste of the working world, and now looking for a fast-paced environment where you’ll get to learn about SaaS and work closely with the leadership teams of international tech startups?

    About the role

    • This role is an opportunity to become a SaaS Sales expert and learn how to increase new logo acquisition by generating a high-quality sales pipeline of opportunities. When you join you'll go through our Go-to-Market Academy training program, and will then be assigned to our UK-based SaaS customer, Lokulus, who provides AI and workflow automation software to large enterprise companies such as Insurance, Retail, Travel, etc. You'll be responsible for executing the outbound strategy, where you'll be focussed on reaching out to and engaging C-Level executives at some of the world's largest enterprises. You'll also have a clear progression path for moving into a leadership role within 2 years.

    What you'll be responsible for

    • Developing a deep understanding of the SaaS space and different markets across EMEA
    • Research to identify and understand the right people to talk to at the right accounts
    • Well-researched outreach to these prospects across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and engaging them to the point where you secure an initial meeting or product demo
    • Joining meetings and demos booked with prospects
    • Contributing to the tactics and creating the strategy of the Go-to-Market campaigns you're involved in

    Requirements

    You'll be a great fit for this role if you meet the following requirements:

    • University degree
    • 1+ years experience in a customer-facing role (ideally something sales-related) following your studies
    • Strong demonstrable interest in sales, Saas & FinTech, and Startups
    • High levels of energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
    • Based in Cape Town, or can easily relocate
    • South African Citizen
