Your responsibilities 

• The Process Controller is responsible for the cleanliness of the Robotic area and the equipment.
• Register new vessels on the SCADA.
• Process Controller is responsible to ensure that all samples received from Clients are logged.
• Ensures that samples are prepared automatically by the equipment.
• Ensures that equipment is placed in manual and auto mode as the need arises.
• Ensures that samples are prepared and analyzed within the time constraints of each product. Ensures that analyses are reported on time.
• Ensures all checks are done, i.e., balance verifications, crusher verifications, test sieve verifications and daily equipment checklists.
• Ensures all data are sent trough to LIMS and captured correctly (KPI).
• Required to interpret the results and make decisions accordingly.
• Ensures that accurate analyses are conducted in accordance with written procedures on samples received from Clients.
• Ensure that customer requirements are adhered to.
• Specific skills are needed to interpret the functioning of the instruments and the analyses of samples in terms of accuracy.
• Process Controller is responsible to communicate with customers/Technician via phone, e-mail, or intercom on related issues.
• Responsible to log incidents regarding re-works and verification samples.
• Process Controller ensures that results of QC and CRM samples are available on LIMS.

Your responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform the prescribed percentage of inspections on received goods according to specifications and procedures.
• Inspect final components for conformance to purchase order requirements and standards.
• Continuous project progress inspection to ensure that the contractual quality requirements are achieved and procedures followed.
• Perform quality inspection with 3rd party inspectors and document outcomes as per customer requirements.
• Assist the assembly team during troubleshooting to ensure product conformance before delivery.
• Assist during strip & quote assessments to determine possible product failure and input into product improvement.
• Action quality control reports to the relevant departments
• Document inspections (drawings, checklists and delivery documents)
• Register, action and investigate non-conformances - CAPA/NCR’s
• Complete and file all QC required documentation for traceability.
• Create and uphold all relevant internal QC documentation (inspection documents, calibration certifications)
• Compile all documents for project Data Book inspections (relevant certifications, ITPs, QCPs, drawings, test reports etc.)

What you bring

• Matric / Grade 12
• Proficiently operate a variety of precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometers and gauges.
• SAQI, SAIW certification or relevant equivalent
• Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar role
• Experience and knowledge of assembly and production environments.
