    National Sales Manager - Service Business

    • We are seeking a dynamic National Sales Manager – Service Business to lead our service sales operations across South Africa. Based at our Johannesburg Head Office , this role is pivotal in driving customer relationships, sales growth, and team performance.     Maintenance Technician -JHB

    • KONE is looking for qualified Maintenance Technicians in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our team is composed of maintenance professionals who provide on-site customer service to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our equipment. We are now looking for a service-minded Maintenance Technician to provide professional elevator and escalator maintenance service to our customers.
    • In this role, you will be at the core of KONE - an everyday hero who makes people's lives easier. You will work towards ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, as well as promoting regular and proactive on-site communication with customers and the people using the equipment.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Responsible for customer satisfaction through quality of service and regular, proactive, and precise on-site communication;
    • Responsible for accurate and real-time back reporting of work performed.

    • Manage the site environment during service operations.

    Salesperson Service Business - Elevators & Escalators

    • Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager – Service Business , we seek an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson – Service Business  to join our Johannesburg, South Africa office. In this role, you will drive the sales of annual recurring service contracts and modernization by converting leads into customers, improving the efficiency of the sales flow, and driving sales to achieve targets.
    • We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who can influence, with an analytical mindset, be results-driven, and have strong commercial acumen skills. This role requires the salesperson to build relationships and manage the accounts of existing customers and new customers through meetings and by retaining existing and building new business with them.     Keys to success:

    • Minimum 3 - 5 years of technical experience in construction, building materials, and/or the customer industry.
    • Experience with/familiarity with solution-selling methodology.
    • Experience with/ familiar with selling complex technology solutions.
    • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, organized self-starter focusing on high-level customer service.

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Troubleshooter to support our service operations in Johannesburg. This role is critical in resolving complex technical issues, improving equipment reliability, and enhancing the overall performance of maintenance operations. You will play a key role in ensuring safety, reducing call-outs, and supporting the development of technical competencies within the team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safe working practices and perform all activities in accordance with KONE safety and maintenance standards.

    • Elevator Mechanic Trade Test is a must.

    • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across a range of equipment (KONE and non-KONE).
    • Solid understanding of maintenance operations, safety standards, and service processes.
    • Experience with remote monitoring and diagnostic systems is advantageous.

    • Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
