    Management Accountant: Supply Chain and Procurement

    Job Description    

    • The purpose of the role is to provide financial support to the business within the specific function, through the relevant analysis of information using insight and judgement. The result is to drive the business objectives while supporting improved quality decision making.

    Required Skills    

    • A CIMA/Cost and Management Accounting Degree or equivalent.
    • Experience in a FMCG environment (specifically in Dairy) or equivalent work experience would be advantageous.
    • Operation experience at distribution centre beneficial.
    • Good analytical skills, accuracy and details orientated.
    • Computer literacy: Advanced Excel and related MS Office Packages.

     Job Description    

    • This position is responsible for leading trade marketing initiatives across Southern and Central Africa , while also contributing to new product development at the Lactalis International Zone level.     Required Skills

    Sensory Analyst

    Job Description    

    • Join Lactalis SA at our PE Plant in the Quality department with the main responsibilities to conduct daily sensory evaluations of all our various Products. Compile concession requests and arrange for re-test. Give feedback on consumer complaints. Give daily results as requested by Quality Control Manager for head office. Successful candidates need to have at least 2 year’s experiences in FMCG environment and must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of food quality. Be fluent in English and be computer literate (advance excel skills and MS Office).

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Perform shelf-life sensory evaluations for all current products and products under development stage at required intervals as determined by the shelf-life evaluation matrix of all products.

    • Coordinate and conduct weekly Pillar product evaluations with the Trained Panel
    • Track attendance of Trained Panel weekly and motivate attendance to meet the Group’s requirement.
    • Where products do not conform to specification, check for chemistry conformance, arrange for re-tests and compile concession requests and Timelines to start investigation into the non-conformance.
    • Initiate SGA’s (RCA session) for re-occurring out of spec results to determine the root cause of the non-conformance.
    • Lead compliance to Group Sensory audit and requirements by conducting internal sensory audit
    • Communicate with Central Quality weekly on Plant’s sensory and provide update
    • Construct and maintain all sensory-related files
    • Track and improve %Sampling rate for Incubation by tracking daily number of samples received per line vs volume of product produced to ensure compliance to Group’s standards
    • Follow up with production daily on shortages of samples for incubation, retention and shelflife monitoring samples.
    • Data trending of evaluation and Incubation results on a daily basis.
    • Ensure Good Hygienic Practices for Incubator and Retention stores, also drive Plant hygiene by supporting the Hygienist onsite.
    • Lead Incubator and coordinate activities for testing, retesting and people coverage within the Incubator.
    • Feedback on consumer complaints related to taste and texture to determine relationship between grading results, concessions and consumer complaints.
    • Assist with cost-saving & GMP-savings where necessary (eg driving Rework of incubated milk, etc)
    • Work according to and promote Food safety, Continuous Improvement and NOSA (Safety) standards

    Job Description    

    OBJECTIVE:

    • To provide consumers and customers a platform to engage with Sanulac Nutritionals, process product concerns and information, and ensure timeous and appropriate responses to retain consumers for Infant Nutritional products.

    MAIN DUTIES:

    • Manage all customer quality/adverse event complaints and monitor corrective actions based on the findings.
    • Reports on quality defects on a product including its labelling or packaging after finished products release by the Site Quality Head.
    • Accurately enter the quality complaints into a database and maintain records.
    • Evaluate the seriousness of the complaint.
    • Write a concise report to report the complaint and prepare case summaries for regulatory submissions.
    • Communicate and collaborate with the internal teams to address questions and concerns from the complaints.
    • Arrange upliftment and replacement of complaint sample from the consumer.
    • Send QC complaint forms to Clayville and France for investigations.
    • Evaluate France complaint samples from consumers.
    • Manage the Careline inventory, replenish samples stock, monitor expiry dates and FIFO principle ensuring no short-dated or expired samples are returned to Clayville for write-off.
    • Provide monthly report to RA head for KPI analysis to Groupe Lactalis.
    • Report Critical events to RA Head as they occur.
    • Organise courier for uplifting and replacing product.
    • Contacting retail to source product for consumers.
    • Liaise with quality control – SA and France in order to close off the consumer complaint.
    • Generate a revert to the consumer.
    • Handle any repeat queries.
    • Managing the consumer experience.
    • Been knowledgeable in terms of infant milk formula product knowledge.
    • Knowledge on preparation instructions for each infant formula brand and stage appropriate for the child’s age.
    • Assist health care professions in terms of the Expert Community Network platform.
