    Minimum Requirements    

    • We are looking for candidates who are completing or have completed their SAICA accredited Degree Or Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting qualification

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Conducting audits according to the audit plan
    • Performing analytical reviews and critically analysing financial results
    • Critical analysis of forecast information
    • Perform audit assignments including the identification of key audit risks and identifying how such risks are addressed.
    • Preparation of annual financial statements for compliance with the applicable reporting standards i.e. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS and IFRS for Small to Medium Enterprises)

    Minimum Requirements    

    Experience required:

    • Completed SAICA Training contract – Audit & Assurance elective

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Main Purpose of Position:

    • The primary focus will be to lead audit teams and/or independently complete assignments and provide on-the-job guidance and training to the trainees.

    Position Overview:

    • Full audit function from planning to finalisation; taxation, statutory functions and client relations.
    • Liaise with managers to ensure assignments are properly planned and everyone on the team understands their responsibilities in terms of the audit.
    • Assist managers in compiling budgets and communicate budget to the team.
    • Proactively arrange planning meetings, ensure the whole team understands client service objectives, risk areas, the client’s business, relevant deliverables and deadlines.
    • Be familiar with relevant legislation applicable to each audit.
    • Complete sections of the audit that are assigned, and ensure the team members complete their allocated sections within set deadlines at the required standard.
    • Prepare report points to be included in the final management letter, prepare the management letter, as well as external and internal risk management documentation.
    • Ensure all queries have been adequately cleared.
    • Provide detailed feedback to managers on actual time spent versus budget and reasons for overruns.
    • Wrap up the audit file within set deadlines.

    Technical Quality Manager

    Minimum Requirements    

    • CA(SA) qualification.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years post-articles experience in an audit firm, with exposure to audit quality and compliance.
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, ISA, ISQM1, SAICA, and IRBA requirements.
    • Experience in staff training, audit file reviews, and technical support.
    • Caseware working knowledge is essential.
    • Membership with SAICA and compliance with CPD requirements.
    • Minimum of one year management experience.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region if required.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Audit Quality & Compliance:

    • Lead and coordinate the firm’s quality control processes under ISQM 1, ensuring that engagement teams consistently meet ISA and IRBA requirements and uphold Moore’s global quality standards.

    Technical Support & Advisory:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for complex audit and accounting queries, providing accurate and practical technical advice to engagement teams and directors.

    File Reviews & Monitoring:

    • Conduct proactive and retrospective audit file reviews, manage the audit lock-down register, and monitor recurring findings to strengthen quality control processes.

    Training & Professional Development:

    • Plan and facilitate internal technical training sessions, mentor audit staff and trainees, and ensure continuous learning in line with new standards, regulations, and industry updates.

    Caseware & Audit Methodology Oversight:

    • Manage and maintain Caseware templates and technical documentation libraries to ensure that the firm’s audit methodology remains current, consistent, and aligned with global best practice.
