    Mechanical Engineer

    Qualifications

    • B.Eng. (Mech) preferred
    • B.Sc. (Mech) may be considered
    • PR Certificated may be advantageous

    Experience

    • Preferably 5 years’ experience in heavy industry/mining/chemical process environment
    • Project management proficiency
    • Piping systems and piping standards
    • Equipment Condition Monitoring

    Duties

    • Ensuring statutory compliance with regards the relevant OHS Acts & Regulations.
    • Ensuring compliance to ISO standards 9001, 14001, 18001.
    • Initiate, plan, execute and control ad hoc projects as and when required.
    • Developing long-term maintenance strategies for plant equipment and pressure piping.
    • Overseeing the Equipment Condition Monitoring & pressure piping Inspection program.
    • Periodic review and analysis of maintenance measures.
    • Improvement of maintenance strategy.
    • Preparation of proper SOW for general overhaul activities.
    • Preparation and implementation of Safety Procedures & Work Instructions.
    • Compilation and control of the maintenance capital replacement budget.
    • Supervision of special third-party service providers.
    • QA /QC for all maintenance measures.
    • Preservation of the plant performance by pro-actively eliminating equipment failures.

    Electrician Artisan

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Artisan (Trade Test) 

    Experience

    • 5 years of demonstrated maintenance experience as a millwright with an electrical focus.
    • 3 years of demonstrated experience or Knowledge working with Emulsion charging units.

    Duties

    • Maintaining the Charging units on site to OEM standards
    • Attend to electrical breakdowns
    • Assist in training of mine personnel to attend electrical breakdowns
    • Assist with technical issues
    • Reporting to Management on equipment condition and operations.
    • Must have sound knowledge of CANBUS communication in control systems.

    Debtors Clerk

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Grade 12,
    • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping (desirable)

    Experience

    • More than 5 years’ work experience in a similar role. With preference to agricultural sector experience.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles,

    Duties

    • To ensure that details of orders are correct and correspond with invoices and they comply with the VAT Act in order to drive down risk and associated costs to the company.
    • To ensure the accuracy of transactions captured to the system in order to allow for accurate accounting and reporting.
    • To ensure that the sale or receipt of products is validated and then captured to the ERP system in order to promote accurate production, stock and revenue forecasts.
    • To provide accurate and timeous reconciliations in order to ensure that outstanding balances are correct.
    • To perform a variety of administrative tasks including, filing, answering phones, handling queries, assisting with audit preparation and queries.
    • To deal with queries or complaints made by the client (external/internal) by conducting an analysis/investigation into the details and either assisting or escalating the issue, in order to ensure efficient customer service and timeous feedback.

    SHE Operations Specialist

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Additional certifications in SHE management, Risk Management, or Logistics are advantageous.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SHE Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing SHE protocols and conducting compliance audits.

    Duties

    • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring team and equipment readiness, and plan and conduct emergency drills and exercises.
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and applied.
    • Conduct inspections and audits in accordance with minimum regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Develop safety management standards and protocols for logistics and supply chain, including Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP).
    • Implement logistics and supply chain risk management strategies, including executing supplier audits in engineering, transport, raw materials, and construction sectors.
    • Compile segment-specific standards and procedures aligned with Group minimum requirements to ensure consistency across operations.
    • Schedule and execute supplier audits to ensure compliance with SHE requirements, particularly in high-risk areas such as engineering and transport.
    • Review tender documents for procurement purposes and potential suppliers and transporters to align with mandated SHE requirements.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and reflect the latest regulatory standards.
    • Ensure compliance with SHE regulations, standards, and certifications, staying current with regulatory changes and updates.
    • Collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders on SHE matters, driving improvements and ensuring effective communication of SHE standards.
    • Conduct root risk assessment reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks within operations.
    • Oversee vehicle compliance with explosive regulations (CIE regulations) and ensure that all vehicles meet the necessary safety standards.
    • Manage camera data collection for behaviour monitoring, converting data into actionable insights for coaching and escalation of unwanted behaviours.
    • Plan and execute mock emergency planning exercises to ensure readiness and compliance with emergency response protocols.
