Job description

An exciting opportunity exists within our Compliance department looking after our Global Markets business. Therfore an understanding of trading instruments and operations would be preferred for this role.

The purpose of this role is to monitor and report on market risk on a daily basis while keeping abreast of the Bank’s exposure and ensuring that regulatory returns are submitted accurately and timeously.

Other responsibilities as follow:

• Produce the daily and monthly regulatory risk returns
• Ensure that returns have been populated correctly and any variances are explained to SARB
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding any variances and resolve them immediately, provide information as requested to external auditors

Qualifications

• Minimum Honours Degree in Finance /Accounting / Mathematics or Statistics
• Financial Risk Manager Qualification or CFA (advantageous)iskr
