    Warehouse Supervisor

    • An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain Division for a Warehouse Supervisor in Gauteng. The incumbent is responsible for the overall planning, coordinating, and following up the activities of the Team Leaders and Inventory leads and their teams in the Warehouse.     Sales Consultant: AWM

    Summary

    • An opening has arisen for a Sales Representative within our Wound Management Division. The incumbent is responsible for the successful launch, promotion and sales of his/her specific product range to Orthopaedic Surgeons, PNPs, Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons,
    • Gynaecologists, Dermatologist, Urologists and Cardio Thoracic Surgeons. The continuing education in the correct application and usage of these products in the sales territory allocated to the incumbent is paramount. The incumbent reports to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for his/her allocated territory.

    Key Performance areas:

    • To attain and exceed targeted sales.
    • To develop and maintain a regular calling pattern and to report accordingly.

    Key Functions:

    Loan Set Controller

    • An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain Division for a Loan Set Controller in Durban. The incumbent is responsible for all functions related to Loan set/Inventory management, i.e., preparation. kit filling, kit maintenance, washing of instrumentation, checking of instrumentation, ordering of inventory for loan set requirements, etc. Reverse logistics, ensure physical checking of all returns and correct updating on the computer system.

    Key Performance Areas

    • To ensure that loan sets are complete and correct for customer delivery.
    • To ensure that deliveries take place on schedule.
    • To inspect all items to ensure that they are in working condition.
    • To ensure that Safety Stock levels are maintained.

    Key Functions/Tasks

    • Together with the Customer Services Department, ensures that all bookings made, either by a Customer or the Sales force, is executed at a very high standard, i.e.
    • Sets/stock to be delivered within the required time to the Customer.
    • Ensures that Loan Sets are complete, implants correspond with the required pick list/check list, and that all instruments are in working condition and complete as per the check list
    • Advises the Sales force of any discrepancies with regard to Loan Sets in the office or received back from the Customer.
    • Ensures that all usages are identified and verified by the Customer Services Officer.
    • In conjunction with the Supervisor, co-ordinates the delivery schedule for the day, and ensures that the Field Assistants understand and execute the required tasks
    • Ensures that all Loan Sets, Check Lists (Implants) are verified against the AS400/LANSA systems.
    • Ensures that all Capital, Demo and Loan equipment is controlled, monitored and issued on LANSA.
    • Ensures that all Capital items on loan are accompanied by a Loan Agreement form, which must be signed by the Customer.
    • Demo Trolley bookings must be co-ordinated between the CSO, the Sales Manager and the incumbent.
    • Ensures that all Capital, Demo, Loan items are in working condition, and inspected on a regular basis, in conjunction with the S&N Clinical Engineer
    • Co-ordinates all repairs (Endo) being done, and checks with the CSO that the repairs are recovered and invoiced.
    • Together with the Operations Manager and Team Leader, ensures that all stock on the shelf corresponds with what is on the AS400 system. Discrepancies must be investigated and reported to the Operations Manager.
    • Plans and receives Inter-Depot transfers, ensures that Safety Stock levels are maintained, and that timeous ordering of stock occurs. Picks, issues and confirms all Inventory transactions on LANSA.
    • Assists with stock takes when required.
    • Assists with deliveries / collections when required.
    • Works on a shift basis.
    • Ensures that the working environment is safe at all times, neat, clean and risk-free.
    • Maintains company vehicles.

    Minimum Entry Requirements
    Education

    • Matriculation
    • Studying towards a certificate/diploma in Transport or Supply Chain Management
    • Valid driver’s license, with no endorsements

    Experience

    • 4 years’ experience in a computerized stores environment, preferably in a related medical industry
    • Computer literate, and knowledge of ERP systems

    Team Leader

    • An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain Division for a Loan Set Team Leader in Cape Town. The incumbent is responsible for the management of staff punctuality & attendance as well as monitoring and management of staff productivity and performance. The Loan Set team Leader will also be responsible for noting, filing, monitoring and reporting of team KPI’s as well as planning, coordinating, and following up the activities of a Loan Set Controller of picking and preparing loan sets/products required to be dispatched to customers.
    • The team leader is responsible for planning the daily distribution of products and collection and replenishment of it. This function requires close monitoring and measuring of the percentage of completion of each case with the aim of reaching 100% compliance of On Time and In Full (OTIF) for all deliveries.

    Essential Job Functions
    Key Functions:

    • Leading the team to ensure efficient and effective picking, preparing, and dispatching of S&N stock as per order / case instructions. Team Leaders are to assist with this function when required to ensure optimal results.
    • Ensuring that all instruments are accurately checked out of the warehouse by using a printed checklist. This should be signed for acknowledgement of checking.
    • Regular checks on the LSC to measure productivity and contribution to daily plan, individually and collectively. This includes double checking compliance on notes on Webops before shipping and before check in process.
    • Following up on cases / request to ensure timeous delivery to destination. The preferable time of arrival to the destination should not be less than 2 hours of the surgery start time.
    • Monitoring the dashboard for any additional anomaly cases to allocate to team and ensure on time distribution and delivery.
    • Ensure communication to the relevant salesperson of the case is efficient and avoid last minute communication.
    • Responding to telephone queries and request in a professional manner with the focus of delivering on expectation of the business and striving for service excellence.
    • Follow up and ordering of stock from other depots where applicable to the relevant case. Follow up in writing and verbal communication. This requires regular communication with the Inventory teams and escalations where there are any delays.
    • Managing the auditing / checking all stock, including instruments returned to the warehouse after delivery to the client.
    • Management of Kit replenishment process with audits of Webops shelf stock and ensure that Kits are full.
    • Assist with statements and feedback of investigation of incidents raised with the aim of operational response within 24 hours from notification of the incident. This should be reported to the Supervisor, where applicable, as well as the OSC manager.
    • Where there are multiple shifts, the team leaders are to ensure a proper documented handover between shifts signed off by incoming and outgoing team representatives and supervisors, where applicable.
    • Attends meetings and represents the operations teams in the relevant region where required.
    • Responsible for the total team daily output and addresses inefficiencies with team members through a verbal and documented process.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Matric with a Diploma in Operations/Supply Chain

    Experience:

    • 3 years, warehousing, operations, distribution/logistics.
    • Preferably background in the medical devices / Pharmaceuticals
