• Fixing financial problems and discrepancies.

• Working closely with the Management Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensuring the month-end close runs smoothly.
• Assisting with auditing financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Working closely with auditors during year end and help with managing the audit process
• Creating financial forecasts and budgets.
• Developing financial strategies and policies to support the organization's goals.
• Review cash flow and financial risk with Treasury Manager
• Providing financial advice and guidance to management.
• Preparing financial reports and presenting them to senior management.
• Working closely with a team finance professionals.

Whilst each of our employees come from varying backgrounds and unique experiences there are a few things we’d love to see you check the boxes on;

• You’ll hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You’ll have at least 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• You’ll have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• You’ll have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• You’ll have experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• You’ll have strong communication and leadership skills.
• You’ll have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• You’ll demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

MCG, a group of international businesses specializing in people-services, is seeking an experienced Cash Manager to join our dynamic and growing team based in Umhlanga, Durban.

As our Cash Manager, you will play an integral role in managing our financial operations, including moving funds around, avoiding duplications, and transferring funds around the group. You'll also maintain an understanding of banking systems and regulations, prepare cash flow projections and reports, execute intercompany transfers, reconcile bank accounts, and collaborate with other departments to improve our financial processes.

We're looking for a collaborative team player with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in cash management. You'll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are a must, and knowledge of SAFE Financials is a plus.
