QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in Information Systems or Business Studies, or equivalent NQF-7 qualification, or similar NQF-6 qualification with at least 6 years’ relevant IT Project Management experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
• A post-graduate diploma or formal certification in project management (at practitioner level) is highly desirable.
• At least 6 years of relevant IT project management experience in an Enterprise (large/complex) IT environment;
• At least 6 years’ experience of successfully managing the initiation, planning, design, execution, control and closure of ICT projects with budgets of at least R2m.
• A proven track record of managing both hardware/infrastructure and systems-related projects
• At least 6 years’ experience in managing teams of at least 5 people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach five modules per term, within the Management and Leadership Faculty and/or the Applied Psychology Faculty.
• Manage a portfolio of modules or programmes within the Management and Leadership Faculty, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students.
• Oversee part-time educators across campuses, who teach related modules or on related programs, within the faculty to maintain consistency in delivery and assessment.
• Provide general academic support to on-campus part-time educators.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in curriculum design, assessment development, and educational content creation.
• Actively contribute to SACAP’s Research and Ethics Committee, including reviewing Honours and Masters research proposals.
• Engage in strategic collaboration with the Head of Campus and the Teaching & Learning leadership team to foster an innovative and supportive academic environment.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of campus culture amongst part-time educators.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology or related field.
• HPCSA registration as an Industrial Psychologist is preferred.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, with a strong understanding of the South African educational landscape and advancements in artificial intelligence.
