    Electrical Foreman - JHB

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Overall safety of his team – zero LTI’s.
    • Management of the entire shift maintenance team – both mechanical and electrical.
    • Maintaining discipline and timekeeping.
    • Purchasing requisition, spares control, and planning of preventative maintenance.
    • Compliance with all management and safety programmes within the company(i.e. 20 Keys, Planned maintenance, OHSACT, meat safety).
    • Engineering downtime and artisan utilization.
    • Perform standby duties

       The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Must be a qualified electrician with a minimum of 10 years’ experience,Post Trade Test in an FMCG environment.
    • Minimum N4, but N6 will be advantageous.
    • Wireman’s license compulsory or proof of working towards it.
    • Computer literate.
    • Valid MV reticulation switching certificate and experience preferred.
    • Supervisory management training advantageous.
    • Experience in the food industry will be advantageous.
    • Will work shifts and overtime as and when required.
    • Proven fault-finding experience with PLC’s (e.g. Allen-Bradley, or similar)

    Department Head (Abattoir)

    Required Qualification:

    • Completed Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

    Required Experience:

    • Proven experience in a supervisory role
    • Proven experience in large-scale food production and processing
    • Computer literacy – MS Office
    • Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Full control of production processes and responsible for maintaining production standards in terms of quality, process flows, volumes and food hygiene
    • Responsible for all labour-related issues, including ensuring that all positions are managed at all times
    • Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the company’s disciplinary code
    • Continued interaction and communication with senior management
    • Maintaining and implementing the 20 Keys principles, including Health & Safety of the department

    Millwright

    Qualifications:

    • Millwright Trade Certificate (Section 13 and served apprenticeship)
    • Minimum N4 qualification in the relevant field
    • Wiremen’s license will be advantageous
    • PLC and VSDs certificate and experience will be advantageous

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in a FMCG environment
    • Computer literacy: basic MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)

    Other requirements:

    • Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
    • Willing to work shifts and overtime
    • Fluent in English and an additional official language
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • The ability to work in a highly pressurized environment
    • Must be deadline driven
    • Must have own reliable transport

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Routine and scheduled maintenance in the plant
    • Attend to electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery in the plant  
    • Dismantle, move, assemble, install and align equipment and machinery
    • Ensure electrical reticulation is maintained in good working order
    • Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment
    • Fault finding and repairs in the plant
    • Repair basic electrical circuitry and components and testing of units to evaluate electrical and mechanical operation
    • New installations, modifications, upgrades and repairs to machinery and systems
    • Maintain plant and equipment in a safe and acceptable overall condition
    • Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP/ Risk Control and apply general housekeeping rules

    Buyer Administration Camperdown KZN

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for: 

    • Receive proof of delivery documents for all National Chicks stock & non-stock items.
    • Match PODs to invoices and check quantities and prices agree to order.
    • Receipt on SYSPRO ERP system.
    • Attach all relevant paperwork and forward to creditor department once processed.
    • Follow up on all outstanding delivery documentation.
    • Ensure stock and non-stock items are receipted timeously on a daily basis.
    • Follow up and reconcile POD paperwork received from Gauteng.
    • 20 Keys program

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Grade 12 
    • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience 
    • Working experience within procurement would be an advantage
    • Syspro ERP systems experience will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 2-3 years MS Office experience; MS Outlook and MS Excel 
    • Own transport would be necessary
    • Able to work weekends, public holidays and out of usual working hours as and when required

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: 

    • Must have a grade 12 (matric) education.
    • Must be familiar with the Poultry Industry.
    • Sales experience in the FMCG sector an advantage.
    • Must be punctual and able to work overtime inclusive of public holidays if and
    • when required.
    • Self-motivated and should have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work within a team environment - a key requirement.
    • Must have a reliable vehicle with a valid code 8 driver’s license.
    • Participate in cross pollination of duties within the sales department.
    • Must be computer literate.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Must be a team player.
    • Must have own reliable transport.
    • Be able to work on assigned target volumes.
    • Able to work on forecasts and budgets.
    • Think out of the box and independently.
