    TX Technician - Lydenburg

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To achieve a level of competency for PPM (Preventative Passive Maintenance) and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for CPM (Corrective Passive Maintenance) and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for Vandalism and Restoration and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for RF (Radio Frequency) and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for RAN (Radio Access Networks) and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for TX (Transmission that includes Microwave, Optical Fibers, and other forms of transmission) and be able to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competency for Generator Deploying, recovery and refueling in order to service the Vodacom sites as per specification from the customer.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following areas as covered by the SOW 2.21 as Electrical Qualifications as Electrician (26D), or section 28 and Wireman’s License as an Installation Electrician.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following areas as covered by the SOW 2.21 not limited to Electrical Qualifications such as Air-Conditioning and free cooling system training.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following area as covered by the SOW 2.21 to be able to do Fall Arrest and rescue, Rope Access training and including rope rigging for lifting of equipment.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following area as covered by the SOW 2.21 Site alarm Installations and commissioning also including rectifiers and transmission equipment.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following area as covered by the SOW 2.21 such as E1 (Ethernet), Microwave and optical fibers installation and commissioning. To be confident and skilled in all Vodacom vendor equipment and solutions currently built in the Vodacom frame.
    • To achieve a level of competencies in the following areas as covered by the SOW 2.21 but not limited to Arc and CO2 Welding.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Maintain the Client's sites as specified by the Customer- according to schedule 2.21 Scope of Work and any instructions/standards provided
    • Support the Technician to Meet the daily/weekly/monthly Target per County as required
    • Assistant must ensure Tools, Vehicles, Test Equipment, Laptops, Cellphones are looked after and checked for condition and ensure all of these are safe for use and maintained on a register
    • Assistant must ensure he/she complies and support the Technician adhere to the Health and Safety requirements of Bidvest FM and the client’s requirement as applicable on the site
    • To ensure and support the Technician in all access procedures as well as work status updates are done in accordance with the agreed procedures and processes
    • Support Technician to reduce the OOS (Out of Service) to within the service Level Agreement
    • Support Technician to meet the Network Availability Target per County as set down by the Customer
    • Ensure that all relevant alarms are cleared before leaving a site visit
    • Ensure that all tasks are updated, as required on the provided tools and systems
    • Ensure that all required activities are completed, as per the scope of work, either on an “A”, “B”, “C” or Adhoc service. Ensure that all required pictures are taken according to guidelines and submitted, as per the scope of work for the relevant services being performed
    • Ensure that all site procedures are always followed as specified by the client
    • The assistant will follow and support the technician to the relevant service procedures as per the scope of work. Adhere to Quality assurance and control, as indicated in the scope of work, report back on any deviations during a site service, SSF (Sub Standard Form) to be also submitted as required for the service type performed
    • Assist with site access, duties on site and when required other technicians
    • Adhering to instructions given by Technician
    • Support Technician to ensure that allocated sites are alarm free as defined from time to time

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • N3-6 Engineering Studies (Electrical)

    Mast Inspector - Durban

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To carry out timeous and quality planned integrity inspections on mast structures to give effect to the Business, MSI strategy and client service standards.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Ensure timeous submission of S&T advance/claims, timesheets, vehicle tick sheets, mini risk assessment, driver log sheet and vehicle usage report.
    • Conduct effective route planning for scheduled mast inspections.
    • Update safety files monthly/weekly as per the OHSACT .
    • Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring & development of the Assistant
    • Regularly monitoring the performance of the Assistant and provide required support and feedback.
    • Conduct mast inspections on scheduled masts including MPI at the base of the mast. You as the inspector are responsible for all findings during these inspections.
    • Mast Inspectors are expected to climb all masts inspected as you are the skilled and accredited person.
    • Prepare accurate reports based on the findings during the mast inspection. Submit completed reports within 7 days of date of inspection.
    • Manage company tools efficiently.
    • Efficient use of stock (consumables)
    • Adhere to deadlines. Check and respond to emails on a daily basis.
    • Arrange accommodation in due time and manage S and T.

    Generator Service Technician - Johannesburg

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • The summary of the role is to maintain the Clients Generator Fleet including:
    • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
    • Mechanical/electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products
    • Identify safety risks, including completion of any required safety training and the SHE processes

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    General Manager - Cape Town

    Brief Role Description 

    • To obtain the required profit contribution By Managing Staff, Establishing & Accomplishing Business Objectives & Ensuring Compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

    • Be aware of buildings and services implemented or terminated on the portfolio, and ensure services are sold up or sold down accordingly. Further, where it is a sell up, surety given to ensure the service standard is implemented to the required contract standard per service provider and / or team
    • Ensuring innovation and promotional activity around operations is continuous and maintained
    • Ensuring that all operations and facilities remain of the highest standard and are implemented consistently across the national portfolio; in each Absa building.
    • Monitor and report on service partner and supplier non-conformance on the FM account; and ensure this is tracked and resolved.
    • Offer support to the operational; project and engineering divisions of the contract where implementation is required (in GMP or Adhoc) and ensure this is maintained.

    • Design and assess cyclical visits for to all building within the responsibility of the GM

    Brief Role Description

    • To effectively manage the maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery. To develop, manage and maintenance standards for the operations, asset care and maintenance of equipment.

    Key Performance Areas:
