Job Purpose
You will be responsible for organizing and managing all production related activities. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Coaching, training, motivating, and guiding all equipment owners, cell, process, and maintenance leaders.
- Implementing and enforcing operating policies and procedures.
- Delivering agreed production operating targets and goals.
- Implementing strategies to ensure safe and efficient production operations, continuous improvement and delivering superior quality on a consistent basis.
- Leads the implementation of the Daily Management System (DMS) in the supervised production cell.
- Manages professionals on process and maintenance as well as a team of operators to obtain the cell’s assumed goals arising from CBN (Compelling Business Need), the Master Plan and the Annual Plan of the department. Also leads the implementation of standards in the managed structure.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy working and operating environment for all people on the manufacturing site.
- Drive delivery of agreed production operating targets and goals including OE and Warehouse Yield; production volume; conversion cost; material usage; plant and process reliability; productivity and waste reduction.
- Prepare and obtain approval for operating cost budgets and drive production cost performance to achieve agreed budgets and targets.
- Drive implementation of IWS, B-Safe and B-EMEC and any other Bridgestone manufacturing strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and strict adherence to Bridgestone quality standards.
- Monitor operations and implement corrective actions to full on time delivery of agreed production budgets and goals.
- Identify, coach and develop talent to build competency and capability to support our cell centric organization.
- Drive employee engagement and compliance with all legal and corporate policies and regulations relating to labour, safety, health, quality, and the environment.
- Guide and coordinate the activities of the team
- Management of the clean, inspect and lubricate (CIL) process
- Management of Defects Handling process • Management of the Incident Elimination process
- Managing and improving results (i.e. driving performance improvement)
- Lead execution of 90-day plans to eliminate losses using IWS tools • Lead the cell daily direction setting (DDS) meetings
- On the floor coaching of operators e.g. DMS execution, loss elimination, skills development and technical mastery
- Provide coaching to team leaders in the shift exchange DDS meetings
- Lead issue resolution “to root cause” on the floor of chronic stops
- Lead small work groups, communicate effectively, and develop short-term action plans • Overall responsibility for CFT cell output
- Conduct Health checks and identify gaps
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
- Minimum National Diploma in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Experience (years):
- Min of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years management experience

Job Purpose
- You will oversee the day to day tasks of the maintenance needs of the specific cell including managing the Progressive Maintenance (PM) in the cell by eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses. Perform a wide variety of maintenance duties including preventative, progressive, emergency, and routine maintenance and regular inspections. The Maintenance Lead will also act as a trainer, technical coach, resource, and mentor to cell crew by disseminating technical knowledge among operators.
Responsibilities:
- Eliminating engineering, maintenance, and breakdown related losses (loss elimination)
- Manage maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling and breakdown elimination daily management systems
- Manage the maintenance systems for the specific cell (Management of maintenance Planning & scheduling (MP &S).
- Responsible for building capability in operating teams to deliver overall cell results supporting the Compelling Business Need (CBN)
- Drive breakthrough results in planned and unplanned downtime
- Manage M&R costs for the cell (percentage planned maintenance, percentage planned maintenance completed and breakdown reduction
- Ensures stock control and looks for reducing levels of spare parts and pickings
- Provides process improvements on related processes
- Coach and develop shift teams by serving as technical coach, resource and mentor (Improving operator’s technical knowledge).

Job Purpose
- You will be responsible for the performance of machines and the status of implementation of Daily Management Systems (DMS) in the supervised production cell. This position will be responsible for training on the Daily Management System (DMS) in the production cell. The BME Cell Leader will lead the Team to achieve the assumed goals of the cell resulting from the CBN (Compelling Business Need), Master Plan and Annual Department Plan. This position will be accountable for the effective implementation of Incident Elimination - IE, Defects Handling - DH and activities related to cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machines (Clean, Inspect & Lubricate - CIL).
Responsibilities:
Manages the cleaning inspection and lubrication (CIL) process
- Implements the CIL process on machines and is responsible for its continuous improvement and development
- Trains operators in CIL activities
- Supervises the training of operators in the activities covered by the CIL process Create, verify, and update new parameters to minimize losses
- Performing a DMS (Health Check) implementation check in terms of CL, identifies opportunities to improve the process and implements corrective actions
Defects Defect Removal Process Management (DH)
- Owns the DH process in the managed cell in cooperation with the Maintenance Lead
- Prioritizes and plans the removal of identified defects
OSH incident elimination process (IE)
- Responsible for the implementation of the Safety Trigger system to identify the causes of potential accidents and eliminate them
- Implements a system of observation of behaviors affecting work safety (Behavioral Observation System – BOS)
- In cooperation with other Cell Leads from the department and the OHS section, he develops the IE process tools
- Participates in the risk assessment process at workplaces
- Monitors activities related to the implementation of 3M changes in the cell
Elimination of losses
- Create a 90-day plan for a cell
- Coordination of Loss Analysis
- Conduct DDS (daily direction settings) meetings to define priorities, tasks and report results for the last 24 hours.

- Responsible for the implementation of the training in the managed Cell, including directing operators to training, setting a development plan and annual goals.
