    Trade Marketing Specialist

    Description

    • Reporting to the Head: Digital Sales, the key performance areas include but are not limited to: 

    Interpersonal and team relationships

    • Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives. 

    Personal development

    • Completing Individual Development Plans.
    • Attending learning and development courses.
    • Participating in peer and team learning initiatives.

    Budget Compliance

    • Complying with work rules, standards and methods.
    • Taking care to minimise waste. 

    Marketing Management

    • Devising trade marketing strategies in line with organisational goals.
    • Devising and monitoring marketing budgets.
    • Planning and overseeing Public Relations and promotional events.
    • Ensuring that marketing materials sources are of the required standard and are delivered within the agreed upon timeframes.
    • Conducting pre and post analysis of all Trade Marketing events.
    • Planning, managing and implementing eMedia Sales events.
    • Ensuring that the planning and implementation processes are in line with the eMedia brand identity and brand positioning. 

    Event Management

    • Creating and implementing an events calendar.
    • Management and planning of events / outside broadcasts when and if required.
    • Creating event budgets and ensuring the budget is closely monitored and/or adhered to.
    • Completing reconciliation activities in line with established guidelines from the Finance team.
    • Conceptualising and providing costing to clients for events. 

    Stakeholder Liaison

    • Managing suppliers when and if required.
    • Creating innovative platform and/or events to build and grow relationships with agencies, clients and key stakeholders.
    • Create opportunities for brand leverage and develop diverse strategic partnerships.
    • Liaising with the relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring seamless communication for each project from initiation to implementation.
    • Working closely with the Social Media and Sales teams to ensure that content is generated and kept up to date on all Social Media platforms. 

    Requirements

    • A National Senior Certificate is essential. 
    • A National Diploma in Marketing / Events is essential.
    • A Bachelors Degree in Marketing / Events is recommended.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in Trade Marketing role within the Media / Broadcast Industry is essential. 
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in Events Management is recommended and would be advantageous.

    Digital Support Engineer (JBH North)

    Description

    The incumbent would be required to provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders experiencing issues related to digital products and services such as websites, APIs, mobile applications and online platforms and ensure the smooth functioning of digital systems and platforms in the group.

    Troubleshooting

    • Investigating and resolving technical problems related to digital products and services. This ranges from checking website availability, integration points between 3rd Party systems, tracking the follow of data between systems.

    Technical Assistance

    • Responding to stakeholder queries and working with relevant vendors when needed to resolve the technical issues in a timely and professional manner.

    Technical Knowledge

    • Have a strong understanding of websites, APIs, mobile applications and online platforms and being able to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
    • Being able to act as the translator for business to understand technology capabilities, as well as ensuring vendors are provide with adequate support and accountability to deliver on company requirements.

    • Accurately documenting interactions and technical issues as well as communicating effectively with customers and team members, both orally and in writing.

    Problem Solving

    • Having strong problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Making use of root cause analysis and possibly implement programmatic solutions when problem solving.

    • Collaborating with different members of the various teams (internal teams as well as vendors) to resolve complex technical issues and improve digital products and services.

    Digital Multimedia Specialist (JBH North)

    Description

    The incumbent would be required to create multimedia assets (imagery and video) for use on eMedia applications, social media platforms and paid marketing campaigns.  They will also be required to assist in the creation of presentations as required by the business.

    Quality Assurance

    Design 

    • Day-to-day creation of multimedia assets (video & graphics) for use on eMedia owned applications, social media accounts and paid marketing campaigns.
    • Managing multiple graphic/video/photographic/multimedia projects.
    • Meeting and liaising with various teams to discuss briefs, requirements and project progress.
    • Making technical recommendations and ensuring compliance to technical specifications.
    • Ensuring all creative work is in line with creative direction set by Marketing department.
    • Performing regular quality assurance checks on creative work that is distributed on digital platforms.
    • Creating multimedia designs in liaison with various departments within the business.
    • Developing and using skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, In Design and After Effects.
    • Keeping up-to-date with technological and software developments
    • Creating multimedia assets for use in social media campaigns and paid media campaigns.
    • Creating multimedia assets for use on our digital platforms including eVOD, eNCA, Openview, eTV and group digital websites and applications.
    • Creating presentations as required.
    • Implementing web and application mockups in coordination with technical teams.
