    HR Officer

    • Our professional services client in Bellville Cape Town is looking for a HR Officer with 5 year’s experience. You will deal with HR support, HR Relations and Payroll on SAGE 300. The HR Officer will support the HR department in implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, payroll SAGE and ensuring compliance with labor laws specific to South Africa.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting the HR Manager with the full Payroll on SAGE 300 (a must have)Recruitment and Selection – Assist in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.Ensure compliance with employment equity and other relevant legislation.Onboarding and Offboarding (Exit Interviews)Employee Relations Support the HR Manager in handling employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions.Steer Training and DevelopmentHR Administration Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.Compliance and LegalProvide general HR support and advice to employees and management.Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.

    Min requirements and Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the financial services industry like Investments and Asset Management.Solid experience with SAGE 300 – Experience with South African labor laws and HR best practices.Knowledge of employment equity and B-BBEE regulations.

    Financial Manager

    • Income tax calculations, returns and assessments and all e-filing requirements
    • Cashbook & Payments
    • Incorporation of the property management reports from property management company into the real estate property / SPV’s Trial Balance
    • Management Accounts
    • Audited and Audited Annual Financial Statements
    • Liquidity management / Cash Management and Cash Forecast.

    Junior Accountant

    • Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the Accounts department and the Senior Accountant in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, and administrative finance tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

    Salary R 25000 – R 35000 pm – OFFICE BASED JOB

    Requirements

    • Financial / Finance Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or studying towards one)2-3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/junior accountant / accounts roleExperience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Pastel, etc.) is beneficial

    • Bookkeeping & Accounting duties on XERO / PastelAccounts Payable & ReceivableCapture supplier invoices accurately into the accounting systemAssist with preparing and processing payment runsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesFollow up on outstanding invoices and paymentsBanking & ReconciliationsPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliationsAllocate payments and receipts correctlyAssist with foreign currency transactions and allocationsFinancial AdministrationAssist with preparing financial reports and schedulesSupport month-end and year-end processesAssist with audit preparation and SARS-related documentationPerform ad hoc finance and admin duties as required
