    Creative Designer

    • To deliver a truly exceptional customisation experience at our Gauteng store, we are seeking a vibrant Creative Designer to be a driving force of innovation and ideation within our world of workwear. With your contagious energy, infinite enthusiasm and determination, you’ll seize every opportunity to transform the beginnings of an idea into something extraordinary for our customers.
    • It might be designing a logo to be expertly embroidered on a customer’s chosen shirt or finding the perfect placement for high-visibility tape on their selected jeans. With our extensive, floor-to-ceiling range of workwear and convenient in-store customisation options, the possibilities are endless. As our in-store creative expert, you’ll be the spark that ignites every bold idea, inspiring customers to maximise the possibilities of what we can create with them.
    • With your conceptual storytelling, sharp eye for cohesive solutions and go-getter energy, you’ll explore every creative possibility, ultimately turning their “What if?” into a “Wow!” By combining your design expertise, authentic vibrancy and unrelenting curiosity, you will transform what’s possible into distinctive, one-of-a-kind customised garments that create a lasting impression and speak volumes.

    The energetic and conceptual creative best suited to this role will be required to:

    • Collaborate with walk-in customers to brainstorm and develop unique workwear concepts.
    • Bring fresh, innovative thinking to reimagine workwear customisation solutions and inspire customers with creative possibilities.
    • Apply your design skills and knowledge of our customisation facilities to propose creative and practical solutions.
    • Use your styling expertise to advise customers on product selection from our in-store workwear range, branding placement, colour combinations and overall presentation to create impactful workwear solutions.
    • Bring energy and enthusiasm to every interaction, inspiring customers with what we can make possible.
    • Have a passion for consistently delivering exceptional service and exceeding customers’ expectations.
    • Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work, from carefully detailed designs to systematic file organisation.
    • Travel to Jonsson Workwear stores as required to support customisation initiatives, training opportunities and collaboration across locations.
    • Actively assist customers on the retail floor, delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, memorable store experience.

    Embroidery Operator

    • The Embroidery Operator is responsible for accurately embroidering stock items, meeting customer requirements and ensuring that every customer is looked after brilliantly when in our depot.

    The main responsibilities of the role include:

    • Analyzing and understanding project specifications and customers’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
    • Deliver high-quality embroidery that meets delivery times, with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Set up and run the Embroidery Machine efficiently and effectively with all the correct threads.
    • Frame the garments accurately and according to the customisation sheet and customer requirements.
    • Look after the embroidery machine and conduct basic maintenance to ensure the machine is in order and runs smoothly.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Ensure all our products are always well stocked and merchandised to the highest standard.
    • Assist customers by preparing quotations for current and future orders.
    • Following up efficiently and effectively with customers on everything related to their outstanding orders and quotations.
    • Processing of customer payments at Point of Sale and taking accountability for cash desk when required.
    • Available to work on weekends when required.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Preferably 2 years’ experience as an Embroidery operator or machinist
    • Fluent in spoken and written English
    • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel (spreadsheets), Word, Outlook; preferably also Syspro.

    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • A “go-to” person on whom people can rely.
    • Great time-management skills, with an attitude of doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
