    Customer Solutions Senior Engineer – National Contract Logistics

    To be responsible for solution design and budget simulation of new as an existing business, including but not limited to the tender response process, project design and planning, process mapping and document creation, resources acquisition, capex sourcing and calculations, training, and post-implementation follow-up. To design and apply the most optimum engineering solution.


    Your Responsibilities

    • To partner the business development teams in developing client specific solutions through the analysis of tenders and/or technical specifications, designing the solution and constructing the proposals in within specified timelines.
    • To analyze customer requirements and develop a cost model, appropriate layouts and material flows by defining the operational processes, warehouse layout, system process, means and organization required to provide the designed service.
    • Understanding technical studies and drawing up operational cost details and budget for the designed service using the Global Calculation Tool (GCT).
    • Conception, preparation and presentation of offers as well as their renegotiation including the participation in the project implementation phase to ensure all planned tasks are delivered.
    • Maintaining the relevant suppliers and cost data bases (e.g. MHE, processes, storage solutions, etc.) and demonstrating technical intelligence on new processes, materials, equipment, etc.
    • To provide support on inquiries of re-engineering for continuous improvement of existing business and system processes from operations team by collecting and analyzing data from customers to thoroughly understand the business.
       

    Your Skills And Experiences

    • You have expertise in layout designing tools such as Lucidchart
    • You are familiar with cost modelling and are highly organized to manage multiple projects at once
    • You have a degree in the area of industrial engineering or equal level by experience; You can present 5 years of experience in operations management and/or engineering;
    • You have a proven track record in production or logistic engineering, knowledge of logistics IT solutions is an asset;
    • You’ve seen different kind of Warehouse Solutions in several business environments and you can transform this knowledge in the design of new solutions for potential customers, always searching for added value;
    • You have a solid experience in activity based cost calculation and the establishment of rates;
    • You have a self-motivated personality and a result driven, hands-on mentality. You are a strong communicator with experience in tackling problems, leading project meetings, delivering strong presentations, both with customers and suppliers (external and internal)

    Customer Solutions Data Integration and Business Intelligence Expert

    The Customer Solutions Reporting and Data Integration Team Member is part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) and reports functionally to the team leader CoE Business Intelligence and Data Integration. The role is cross-functional across the business fields Air Logistics, Road Logistics, and Sea Logistics and covers responsibility for Customer reporting and the technical implementation & re-engineering of EDI customers


    Your Responsibilities

    • Support Solution Implementation projects in line with the Global Customer Implementation Methodology (GCIM) by executing the Solution Implementation Manager Role (SIM)
    • Consult on Reporting Projects / Requirements throughout the sales cycle
    • Work together with MEA Regional Office to create Regional B.I. and Tableau standards based on National customer / vertical requirements
    • Act as Certified Customer Shipment & Customer Order Reporting Super user
    • Provide input to Corporate to develop global standards to better Kuehne-Nagel’s offerings to customers with regards to EDI and API.
    • Integration post production support (Mapping updates, Communication protocol changes etc.)
    • Logical Mapping for EDI projects, Integration system setup and configuration as well as testing and certification
    • Document project progress, support requests and invested efforts via Jira and Request Tracker
       

    Your Skills And Experiences

    • IT Degree
    • You have 2 years experience in Freight Forwarding and 3 years experience in IT
    • You have 1 - year experience in Project Management (Knowledge)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
    • Programming Languages (important)
    • Good command of the English Language - both written & spoken
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all levels in the organizational hierarchy
    • Good communication and Problem-Solving skills

    National Key Account Manager Automotive

    The National Key Account Manager's main objective is the retention and growth of Kuehne-Nagel's market share within the assigned industry in South Africa. This entails a solution-based selling role across larger and strategic key Accounts within the Automotive vertical. The role will be operating out of Johannesburg.


    Your Responsibilities

    • Establish a portfolio of global as well as local key accounts by liaising with local stakeholders (BM,NV,BU's) as well as counterparts in the regions and global Industry champions
    • Identify goals and objectives for the development of each key account (account plan) in the assigned vertical and align with Jnb NV. Pursue cross- and upselling strategies per customer
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
    • Conduct regular business reviews where applicable and align with operations on customer’s requirements.
    • Identify service issues, initiate corrective action and ensure issues are resolved timeously.
    • Attend meaningful industry specific conferences and events.
       

    Your Skills And Experiences

    • Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is preferred
    • You have at least 5 Years of experience in a global, regional, or national key account capacity, with proven a record of business development
    • You have at least 5 years of experience within the customer vertical
    • Supply chain management experience, including extensive understanding in 4PL (preferred)
    • Good command of the English Language - both written & spoken
    • Have proven industry knowledge of the assigned vertical
    • Have conducted sales leadership workshops, whiteboard sessions with customers, or process review sessions with global customers.
    • Moderate level of computer literacy.

    National Key Account Manager Pharma + Healthcare
