    Long-Term Insurance Sales - Financial Advising

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Long-Term Insurance Sales - Financial Advising position based in Johannesburg, with the flexibility to work partly from home. The role involves providing financial advice and solutions tailored to clients’ needs, selling long-term insurance products, and building strong client relationships. Additional responsibilities include offering excellent customer service to maintain client trust and educating clients on insurance offerings to help them achieve financial security.

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Tertiary: degree or diploma would be an added advantage
    • Own car and drivers' license
    • Laptop
    • Sales Experience - does not need to be industry related
    • If you are an experienced individual in the industry all FAIS requirements will apply
    • Own network of clients

    Personal Financial Advisor

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Build relationships with new and existing clients to understand their financial goals.
    • Conduct a financial needs analysis and develop financial plans for clients.
    • Conduct research on investment options, insurance policies, and other financial products.
    • Maintain accurate client records using CRM and financial planning software.
    • Gather and analyse client financial data (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
    • Monitor financial markets and industry news to support investment strategies.
    • Attend training sessions, workshops, and stay updated on financial regulations and trends.
    • Ensure compliance paperwork and documentation for regulatory requirements is in order.
    • Create reports and visual summaries (e.g. charts, presentations) for client meetings.

    Experience & Qualification

    • 1 years’ experience in sales & client servicing (preferred)
    • Minimum NQF 5 qualification in Wealth Management / Financial Planning / Finance / Banking (or any related fields)
    • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
    • Self-motivated, ethical, and goal-oriented
