    Cloud Solution Architecture - Security

    Responsibilities

    • You will drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor as well as provide feedback and insights from customers/partners and be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
    • You will land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, and with focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management and Cloud Security.
    • You will position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage as you develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments and identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise. Deliver according to MS best practices & using repeatable IP. 
    • You will accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits “Secure by Design” framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
    • You will align your individual skilling to team/area demands & Customer Success goals as you accelerate customer outcomes and share your expertise, contribute to Intellectual Property (IP) creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes. 
    • You will run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution – governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment.  Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.
    • You will collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.
    • You May also be asked to lead a team of Partner CSAs (POD) should a need arise 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND solid experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience

    Certifications (Microsoft + Industry):

    • Microsoft: AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate), SC-100 OR SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)
    • Other Vendors: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, and SIEM/XDR vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Splunk)

    Proven Customer Engagements:

    • Demonstrated experience delivering security solutions (Microsoft XDR, Sentinel, Entra) and multi-cloud architectures in real-world projects.

    Executive Communication Skills:

    • Ability to present complex security strategies to C-level stakeholders and influence decisions.

    SOC & XDR Expertise:

    • Hands-on experience with Security Operations Center workflows, threat detection, and incident response across multiple platforms.

    Collaborative Leadership:

    • Track record of working across technical teams, partners, and customers to drive secure solution adoption.

    Strategic Impact:

    • Evidence of improving customer security posture and contributing to reusable IP or frameworks.

    Growth Mindset & Continuous Learning:

    • Commitment to staying current with Microsoft security technologies and other vendor solutions.

    Account Technology Strategist

     

    Responsibilities

    • Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership - Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, technology landscape and AI and Security strategy.  
    • Technology Relevant Trusted Seller - Drive Microsoft Business growth including partner co-sell motions and governance around consumption and intent to use
    • Technology Leadership across Solution Areas - Lead AI, (including data and migration) and Security, conversations across the rooms of the house showcasing how they align to the customers business priorities.
    • Industry Knowledge – Apply expertise in customer businesses, technology platforms and industry to build AI strategy with the customer that is aligned to business outcomes. Challenge customers’ assumptions with constructive dialogue about their business and technology.
    • Applies expertise (deep expertise across few accounts or broad expertise across many accounts) and thought leadership to identify and inform the development of the right Industry Sales Kits and industry partners within the customer's vertical industry.
    • Articulates and understands specific industry-related market trends, as well as customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer's broader industry.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications (RQs)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience

    OR equivalent experience

    Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience

    OR equivalent experience

    • 6+ years experience in relevant customer industry
    • 6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes
