Responsibilities

• Ensuring the correct mixing volumes is being mixed
• Ensuring that mixing bole gets to the tipper area for processing
• Ensuring that the correct ingredients is being used in accordance to what needs to be mixed
• Ensure minimal damages by adhering to SOPs accordingly
• Communication with supervisors regarding an issues on shift
• Adhere to food safety regulations to minimise risk to the product
• Follow all safety regulations accordingly (PPE, working safely etc.)
• Assist in the production department as required
• Assist during breakdowns to minimse adverse impact on the shift's output

Qualifications

• Grade 12/NQF 3 or Equivalent
• Experience: 1-2 years

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

Business Development

• Acquire new business and grow existing customer base
• Identify business opportunities and implement agreed plans

Sales Performance

• Review progress versus objectives at weekly meetings and take corrective action as appropriate.
• Review and present value, expenditure and profitability actual/forecast Vs plan to Sales Manager
• Monitor Sales and KPI activities and ensure all route sales targets are achieved
• Maintain physical presence in the territory to ensure understanding the customers needs
• Co-ordinate area account plans to ensure areas delivery towards the regional plan in the organised
• Liaise with external merchandising services to achieve effective merchandising practices in all stores

Customer Management

• Maintain positive business relationships with customers and buyers

Team Management

• Coach, train and develop sales team in accordance with company practices

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role

• Minimum Qualification- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing/ Sales Management.
• 5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment.
• Computer skills including SAP,DSD, MM, SD, MS Office, etc.
• Business planning skills.                                    
• Vendor management skills.
• Budgeting Skills.

• Achieve 90% strike rate
• Maintain 0.5% stales threshold  rate
• Obtain new business as per Annual Operating Plan
• Manage cash and stock
• Pull, analyse reports to drive continuous improvement on route.
• Support company cost control through efficient driving of vehicle
• Comply with all functional and non-functional company policies and procedures, e.g. Sales; Health and Safety; etc.
• Housekeeping and maintenance of company assets, e.g Hand-Held Computers, Vehicle, Uniform, Mobile phone, etc.

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role:

• 3-year Business / Commercial Tertiary qualification
• 3 years working experience in FMCG environment, with 1 year in a selling role / selling experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a vehicle..
• Valid Code 10 driver's license
• Valid Public Drivers Permit
• Certified Defensive Driver Certification
