    Senior Accountant

    Job Description

    • Our client, a reputable firm known for its professional work environment and commitment to excellence, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to support their expanding finance team. The ideal person will be someone who just finished their Clerkship and preferably already have their BCom Accounting Degree.
    • Salary: R20,000 - R30,000 per month (depending on experience)
    • Position Type: Full time

    Duties:

    • Compile financial statements and perform independent review processes
    • Process invoices and bank transactions efficiently
    • Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, and creditors
    • Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries
    • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
    • Prepare year-to-date VAT reconciliations and manage VAT201 returns
    • Handle SARS VAT reviews and audits
    • Provide accounting and clerical support to the department
    • Prepare management accounts to support business decisions

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification with experience in financial statement compilation
    • Clerkship completed (non- negotiable)
    • Bcom Accounting Degree (preferred)
    • Not less than 3 years working experience
    • Excellent computer literacy skills
    • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
    • Previous experience working on Draftworx would be beneficial.
    • Previous experience working on Sage Online, Sage Pastel and Xero (beneficial).

    Facilities Manager (National)

    Job Description

    • In this role, you will be at the heart of ensuring our facilities operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will oversee maintenance programs, manage contractors, and lead projects that enhance our infrastructure. Your expertise will support our commitment to compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while also driving operational improvements and managing budgets.

    Duties:

    • Manage all hard and soft facilities services across multiple locations nationwide.
    • Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
    • Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure SLA and KPI compliance.
    • Develop and control operational and capital expenditure budgets.
    • Lead facilities improvement, refurbishment, and infrastructure projects from planning to completion.
    • Monitor asset performance and implement lifecycle management strategies.
    • Conduct site inspections and travel nationally to support operational needs.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and senior management.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Facilities Manager.
    • Proven expertise in Facilities Management and Project Management.
    • Strong budgeting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
    • Experience in operational planning, risk management, and compliance.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Familiarity with the following:

    • Construction and Engineering industries.

    Assistant Mine Manager/ Mine Manager

    Duties:

    • Assist in the planning and management of mining operations
    • Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance are maintained
    • Oversee daily mining activities and coordinate with various departments
    • Implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency
    • Support the senior management in decision-making processes

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in the chrome or platinum mining industry
    • Mech Engineer or any Engineer compliant with DMRE to be a legal appointee as per 2.13.1 as per MHSA Act will be considered.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Knowledge of mining safety regulations and standards
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
    • Ability to work effectively on-site in a demanding environment
