    BI Data Analyst

    Job Purpose:

    • To provide Business Intelligence Analysis through performing strategic and operational support.
    • To designs, develops, implements, and maintains database systems, writing code to create and manage databases, and ensuring their efficiency and security.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Structure data into compliance standards by adhering to metadata governance procedures according to the client’s documented standards and formats.
    • Manage final transformed data content by complying to prescribed standards for reviewing and publishing.
    • Assist/govern population of datamart and metadata repository by complying to standards, systems, processes and procedures.
    • Support business units by providing consulting services that delivers data and information relevant to their business.
    • Deliver work according to customer expectations by prioritising, planning and implementing requirements.
    • Utilise resources by adhering to standards, policies and procedures.
    • Align and continuously improve set processes by identifying innovation opportunities.
    • Identify and mitigate risk by executing within governance.
    • Resolve incidents by logging and tracking through correct channels.
    • Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending sessions.
    • Understand and embrace the client’s vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
    • Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
    • Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed, experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
    • Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.  
    • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in the client’s culture building initiatives.
    • Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
    • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies and support implementation of new processes, policies and systems.

    Minimum Experience Level:

    • 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
    • 3–5 years in a data management or business intelligence role.
    • 6+ years of SQL Server and SSIS experience.
    • Experience in financial services or similar industries (e.g., telecoms) is advantageous.

    Essential Skills

    • Advanced T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
    • SSIS (ETL development and scheduling).
    • Power BI (tabular models and dashboards).
    • Root cause analysis and data quality assessment.

    Advantageous skills

    • Python (for automation and data manipulation)
    • .Net C# (especially for integration with Kafka/Kibana)
    • HTML
    • SSAS and SSRS
    • Visual Studio 2019/2022

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Diploma

    Preferred Qualification

    Release Train Engineer (RTE)

    Job Description

    • Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join their team! This is a 12-month contract with the option to renew for an additional 12 months.
    • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Agile experience who is ready to step into or grow within the RTE role. You will help coordinate Agile Release Train (ART) activities, support planning and delivery, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of program increments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in facilitating ART events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
    • Support teams in identifying and managing dependencies and impediments.
    • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the teams.
    • Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Work closely with Product Management and Scrum Masters to align priorities and execution.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in an Agile delivery environment (e.g., as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Team Lead).
    • Exposure to or working knowledge of SAFe or similar scaled Agile frameworks.
    • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
    • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Experience in banking or financial services is a plus.

    Nice to Have:

    • SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
    • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar.

    Senior Salesforce Engineer/Developer

    Job Description

    • Our client in the Banking Industry is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer/Developer to support their feature team with both ongoing and project-based development initiatives.

    Scope of Work

    The successful candidate will be involved in:

    • BAU (Business As Usual) activities
    • Operational support and maintenance
    • Change requests and new build work

    Technical Focus

    • Primarily working on Salesforce Internal Org and Sales Org.
    • Potential integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Possible development across other Salesforce Orgs within the Bank.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement allocated features.
    • Maintain and support assigned tasks and features, including all necessary administration.
    • Document solution designs for review.
    • Present designs to the relevant Design Authorities for approval.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
    • Strong background in Salesforce engineering and platform customisation
    • Experience with integrations, especially involving Marketing Cloud, is a plus.
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and PI planning processes.
