    Risk Manager

    • As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible to ensure compliance and business continuity through the development and implementation of HSE plans, programs and initiatives with Premier staff and contractors to continually improve a resilient HSE culture on site.
    • Ensure legal compliance with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental Acts and legislations through 
    • Implementing and maintaining standards & procedures 
    • Ongoing training, coaching and assessment 
    • evaluating and improving SOPs as needed. 
    • Implement and manage ISO 45001 & 14001 Management system 
    • Ensure business continuity by implementing and maintaining insurance 
    • related standards, addressing audit findings and putting emergency plans in place. 
    • To continually build a culture of health and safety and zero-injuries on site by engaging with our employees through onboarding new employees re HSE requirements, Arranging Annual / Entry / Exit medicals and reporting on it Creating and providing toolbox talks for the Invocoms. 
    • Addressing any unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions 
    • Providing HSE legal compliance training 
    • Enabling and coordinating monthly HSE representatives 
    • Recognizing excellence for the site when observed 
    • Reinforcing compliance to policies and procedures 
    • To prevent incidents, injuries and property damage by proactively Identifying and addressing hazards to reduce and or minimize possible risks. 
    • To eliminate and reduce loss and theft to company by implementing control measures, proper investigation of any crime or loss incidents and continuous improvement of site and asset protection. 
    • Manage outsourced service providers and ad hoc contractors 
    • Ensure continually development of HSE on site through regular internal (Premier STAR) and external auditing.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • SAMTRAC / NEBOSH IGC Essential 
    • Diploma or degree in HSE – Essential and HIRA Training certificate ess

    Experience Requirements    

    • 5-10 years’ experience HSE/ Risk Manager from FMCG environment.
    • Managing outsourced service providers – 5-10 Years – Desirable 

    Skills and Competencies    

    • HSE Management and control systems; Working knowledge of all HSE legislation and Acts. 
    • HSE data analysis and trend identification. 
    • Incident investigation techniques and procedures 
    • Following Instructions and Procedures

    Job Description    

    • To execute full- and on-time daily targets in the Production Department and the bulk plan. To ensure the integrity of the product is never compromised.

    Supervisor Sales Operations

    Purpose of the job:

    • To maximize the route potential thus ensuring profitable availability.  Managing route sales, driver shorts, crates and PODs through your team consisting of Salesman Drivers and Sales Assistants. Daily couching of Salesman Drivers.

    Responsibilities:

    • To ensure that Drivers and Vehicles are allocated correctly to enable daily route monitoring, driver debriefing and reporting on the planned vs. actual route adherence.
    • Daily Route Management of bakery delivery vehicles.
    • To analyse & report on operational and customer service trends.
    • To ensure all systems supporting DRM are functional, e.g. (Vigil & Mix Telematics)
    • Responsible for DRM System reporting to management of daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s hit rates, departure times, excess kilometres, unplanned routes and kilometres.
    • To control driver shortages
    • To control outstanding crates
    • Overall management of drivers and sales assistants

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric or equivalent

    Experience Requirements    

    • Min 3 years Sales Supervisory experience, with a strong emphasis on Customer Service Execution in an FMCG environment.
    • Computer Literate.
    • Geographic Information Systems.
    • Advanced Excel user.
    • Route Planning systems, an advantage.
    • Working knowledge of Geospatial data (Spatial Data).
    • Routing and Distribution Optimization.
    • Working knowledge of vehicle telematics technology & software.
    • People management – experience with working with people at all levels of

    • Pressurized environment. (Accuracy and time pressures)
    • Code 10 Driver’s licence with PrDP, (advantageous)
    • Own transport (advantageous)

    Job Description

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Book keeping experience will be an advantage
    • At least 3 - 5 years work related experience

    Experience Requirements    

    • To ensure manual purchase requests raised are correctly allocated and authorized before processing.
    • To issue system purchase orders and follow up on documentation from the sites (departments) to receipt into the system.
    • To perform creditors reconciliations for suppliers and submit to Corporate Office for payment.
    • To handle creditors queries.
    • To control and manage petty cash for Durban Mill.
    • To process ad hoc invoices and follow up on payment thereof.
    • To assist with other finance functions within the department, as required.
