    Business Partner: Finance

    We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the understanding, interpretation and communication of business financial performance through analysis of business results while challenging, advising and providing decision & execution support to leaders.

    Reporting to the Manager Finance Business Partnership and working in a collaborative community within Finance, you will be performing the following duties

    • Develop, implement, and maintain financial plans, preparing financial reports, advising on financial affairs.
    • Develops and maintains effective reporting mechanisms to ensure the immediate team is provided with updated information on financial performance
    • Prepares, reviews and challenges monthly, quarterly and annual financial results for use by the immediate team
    • Partner with their key customer to drive business performance.
    • Provide influential advice, insight, challenge and decision support with a strong customer delivery focus.
    • Contribute to deployment of strategy and drive improved business performance through forward plans.
    • Support performance delivery through financial expertise, objectivity, challenge and insight to the business.
    • Leverage highest value initiatives to maximise shareholder value and optimize business financial outcomes.
    • Ensure governance and compliance through effective application of financial controls and risk management.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Degree in a financial discipline and/or CIMA (Majors must include Financial Accounting and / or Management Accounting).
    • A project management qualification, Six Sigma certification with solid Cost/Finance Management will be added advantage.
    • EB License
    • Computer literacy SAP (extensive FI/CO knowledge essential).; MS Office (advanced);
    • Well-developed communication and administration skills.
    • Sound financial acumen
    • 2 + Years of Business Partnering, Financial, Cost accounting experience is essential.
    • Good knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.

    Superintendent Warehouse & Logistics

    We are looking for a Superintendent Warehouse & Logistics to manage and control warehouse operations and all related supply chain functions to support production and engineering. Reporting to the Manager Commercial Services, the role is expected to Manage and coordinate the supply chain process.

    This role ensures sufficient lead time for the availability of equipment and spares to prevent production downtime or maintenance delays. This includes and not limited to

    • Ensure efficient and effective execution of the supply chain strategy.
    • Ensure high level of monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of spares and raw material.
    • Plan and implement the consolidation and delivery of materials and equipment for plant maintenance, shutdowns, breakdowns, etc.
    • Ensure effective and proactive management of the warehouse operations to deal efficiently with capacity constraints.
    • Ensure efficient inventory management to analyze data on equipment performance for the compilation of demand planning and forecasting including scheduling and conducting manual stock counts, also referred to as cycle counts.
    • Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment, at the discretion of the Manager
    • Supervise and control the activities, standards of performance and behaviour of designated support staff.
    • Ensure that staff training and development needs are identified and technical skills imparted via formalized training and on-the-job coaching to facilitate optimal functioning.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Degree or Diploma in Material Management or Logistics related qualification equivalent to NQF level 6
    • Valid South African Driver’s Licence
    • 5 -10 years appropriate experience in a similar role
    • Experience in a mining environment as well as 1 year experience in an exporting environment would be advantageous.Experience in a middle management role in a supply chain environment is required
